One person I admire

One person I admire most is my grandfather, who has an admirable character: honesty.

My grandfather is in his seventies this year. He is a big man with white hair, bright eyes and a full chin. Years still leave wrinkles on his face. My grandfather especially likes all kinds of cursive handwriting of calligraphers.

Once, in a conversation between Grandpa and an old friend of a fellow countryman, I accidentally discovered that this old friend had collected the original works of Wang Xizhi, a great calligrapher in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. Grandpa borrowed it from this fellow countryman, and the two sides agreed to pay it back at nine o'clock in the morning a month later. Time passed by one second, and it was only one day before the book was returned. At this time, Grandpa could grasp the book and even forgot to eat. When the deadline came, it happened that it rained cats and dogs at eight o'clock, and it was still raining at eight forty-five. Grandpa is going to return the book, and we discourage him from returning it to this fellow countryman after the rain, but grandpa says; "Honesty is the foundation of human beings, and I should do it. If I can't return this book collection to him on time, he will never dare to lend it to me next time." Grandpa finished, carefully wrapped the book collection, hugged it in his arms, propped up his umbrella, put on his boots, and walked into the rain ...

Grandpa was so faithful that he braved the heavy rain and rushed to return the book. How important the word honesty is in grandpa's eyes! Composition

Thank you, Grandpa. You explained the meaning of honesty to me with your actions. In the future, I will keep the word "honesty" in mind and be a man who keeps his word like grandpa.
