Guo's epitaph maintains the original features of Yan Zhenqing's regular script. Tombstone, height 107 cm, width 104 cm and thickness 4.5 cm. Gaiding seal script: "Shang Shu of the Ministry of Industry of Tang Dynasty gave Guo Gongwang an epitaph". Text in italics, 35 lines, full of 34 words, * * plus 1 150 words. This post is 1997 Yan tablet just unearthed in Henan. Well-preserved, clear text. It is the earliest discovered calligraphy work of Yan Zhenqing (4 1 year).

Recorded the life story of the tomb owner Guo. Guo is from Taiyuan, Shanxi. He has served as Ambassador of Zhong Cheng, Assistant Minister of Industry and Assistant Minister of Industry. In the battle to defend the border of the Tang Dynasty, Guo personally led his soldiers to fight hard on the battlefield and made meritorious deeds. He was rewarded by the emperor and rectified the unstable factors in the frontier. In the eighth year of Tang Tianbao, that is, AD 749.
