A Brief Introduction of Shimeitang's Shimeitang

"Shimeitang" is the name of the art studio of China young painter, calligrapher and poet Shimeitang (Li Xiang). Gu Zi calls himself "Master Shimeitang". The so-called "Shi Mei" means that he is eager to pursue the spirit of simplicity, backbone, firmness, aloof and fortitude with plum blossom as his teacher. Plum blossoms are not afraid of cold, and the colder they are, the more beautiful they are. The' fragrance' gained from the bitter cold is also a true portrayal of the character and spirit of Tang Priest's master and apprentice. It is the best interpretation of him as a whole. This is also the reason why young artists can persevere on the arduous road of art and seize the day.
