Introduction of Shidao Folk Culture

Shidaohai has a profound cultural heritage, and a series of marine cultural activities such as offering sacrifices to the sea with Shidaohai drum as the soul and sending lanterns to the queen are unique. Shidao folk artists have made outstanding achievements, and have deep attainments in painting and calligraphy, strange stones, collection, root carving, paper cutting and so on. Many people were awarded the title of "folk artists" by UNESCO. Shidao has more than 60 well-known scholars, experts, politicians at or above the provincial level and leaders at or above the corps level. Mu Yun 'an, a painting village, is a well-known fisherman painting village. Huge murals are painted on the walls of every household, such as colorful palaces. The grand plan of sailing, the joyful picture of returning to Man Cang, etc. An "art exhibition room" has been set up in the village, which is open all the year round and displays nearly 200 works, including Chinese paintings, oil paintings, New Year pictures, cartoons, calligraphy and paper-cutting. It is just a microcosm of the villagers' decades of creation. More than 80 works in the village participated in the city, province and national art exhibitions, 20 works won prizes, more than 20 New Year pictures were published by People's Fine Arts Publishing House, and more than 400 works of fine arts were published in newspapers and periodicals at all levels. Paper-cutting also has a long history in this village. With the development of reform and opening up, they are pursuing the beauty of material life as well as spiritual life, and regard dancing and writing as an elegant thing. Chejiao River in Huacun is a well-known flower village at home and abroad, located in the east of Fahua Hospital. Affected by the maritime climate, there is no severe cold in winter and no heat in summer. The mountain is covered with sandy black soil, and the mountain springs are gurgling all the year round, which is very suitable for the cultivation and growth of flowers, so there are countless wild flowers on the mountain. The flower cultivation in Chejiao River has a long history. As early as the late Ming and early Qing dynasties, large-scale garden flower cultivation began. After more than 300 years of development, flower cultivation has become the main economic pillar of the village. The flowers in this village are mainly azaleas, camellias and Yun Song, with a wide variety. There are nearly 100 varieties of azaleas and camellias alone. Its self-cultivated "Pink" Rhododendron won the Silver Award at the National Horticultural Exposition. Now it is the largest azalea and camellia planting base in Shandong Province. "Everyone is a gardener, and every household has a greenhouse" is a true portrayal here. On average, each family in this village grows more than 800 kinds of flowers. Rhododendron in early spring in Shidao, wild rhododendron and safflower are in full bloom all over the mountains, which looks like a red ocean from a distance, so Shidao people are used to calling it "Yingshanhong". As early as the beginning of18th century, Shidao people had the habit of cultivating rhododendrons artificially. By the 1920s and 1930s, the potted rhododendrons in Shidao had entered the stage of commercial development, or were listed and traded in trade houses or given as gifts to relatives and friends. After the founding of New China, the cultivation of Rhododendron in Shidao has developed rapidly, and a large number of new varieties have come out continuously, forming its own system-Rhododendron in Shidao. There are more than 20 varieties of rhododendron in Shidao, such as hairy leaves, pomegranate red, white rhododendron, five treasures, rich chicken, emerald Cui Jin, Jinfeng, pink, pink, western roll and so on. Among them, Rhododendron successfully introduced Shidao in 1980s, and it was widely spread. Shidao people love azaleas more than most people think. Even during the Cultural Revolution, when planting grass and flowers was regarded as a bourgeois way of life, Shidao people still loved planting azaleas. The infatuated Shidao people have cultivated and preserved a large number of excellent varieties of rhododendrons in various forms. At that time, there were many stories about raising, protecting and offering flowers among the people. Many batches of rhododendrons in Shidao were "transferred to Beijing", which witnessed some major foreign affairs activities during that period. After the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee, Rhododendron Shidao ushered in an unprecedented development opportunity. Rhododendron planting has become a characteristic industry in Shidao. Among the 73 natural villages in Shidao/Kloc-0, 68 have planted rhododendrons on a large scale. Every year, Shidao produces more than 9 million pots of rhododendrons, which are mainly sold to Beijing, Hebei, Tianjin, Shanxi, Kunming, Dalian, Qingdao and Yantai. Rhododendron Shidao is quite famous in the flower industry and has won many exhibition awards. Among them, Rhododendron Bonsai won the National Flower Bonsai Grand Prix in the early 1990s. Rhododendron diecui 1998 won the second prize of "China Kunming World Horticultural Exposition". Fishing Village Dayudao Village is the largest natural fishing village in China and the most prominent place in China fishing village. Early seaweed houses (seaweed as the top, bluestone as the wall, warm in winter and cool in summer) and some old features of fishing villages are still intact. As early as the 1960s, the people of Dayu Island cultivated the sea to raise fish, and strived to establish the brand of "Dazhai on the sea" and "Pearl on the sea" throughout the country. Since the reform and opening up, the cultural welfare facilities of residents in Dayudao Village are perfect, and it has the reputation of "the first fishing village in China". Shidao Dagu Shidao Fisherman's large-scale gongs and drums were founded in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties and developed from the people. The original villages all had one or two drums, which were mostly played before going out to sea and Shanghai, especially at the Temple Fair in Tianhou Palace. In the past, gongs and drums were deep, soothing and even desolate. The use of rests in performances makes people full of suspense about the future. From 65438 to 0993, Shidao Town Cultural Station expanded the team of gongs and drums, and improved the tunes of gongs and drums: First, it changed singles into group fights; Second, each set removes small pieces such as hand gongs and cymbals, and adds gong and cymbals; Third, according to the spirit of the times, the joyful atmosphere in the bucket was strengthened; Fourth, the conductor of the second cymbal was changed into a commander-in-chief, thus further developing and perfecting the musicality of gongs and drums, making the lineup more grand and imposing. It mainly shows the indomitable fighting spirit, indomitable fighting spirit and the belief that the people of Shidao dare to fight and win in the struggle with nature, especially the wind and waves. Today, a new generation of "Shidao Fisherman Drum Team" with more than 300 fishermen's disciples as the backbone has been cultivated here and has been performed in large-scale activities organized by provinces and cities for many times. Shilou is located in Shidao, the easternmost tip of Jiaodong Peninsula. In addition to seaweed houses with folk characteristics, stone buildings are also its most representative buildings. Walking on the streets of Shidao, simple and solemn stone buildings often jump into your eyes. The short two-story building and the high four or five-story building have a unique charm in buildings using modern building materials. The stones used to build stone buildings are all made from local materials, mostly from Shidao Mountain. This mountain belongs to Chashan Mountain System, where the famous "Shidaohong" marble comes from. "Shidao" is also named after this mountain. The earliest stone building in Shidao is Tianhou Palace, which was built in the 16th year of Qing Qianlong (1752) and was built by Wang Yide. After 260 years, Tianhou Palace, bearing the vicissitudes of life, still stands in modern high-rise buildings. In the middle and late Qing Dynasty, with the opening of Shidao, Shidao gradually prospered, and some small stone houses of rich households also rose in many houses. The sixties and seventies of last century were the prosperous times of Shidao stone buildings, most of which were built by some government agencies. Because stones were cheap at that time, they could be taken from nearby mountains, which could save costs and have characteristics. The main means of transportation at that time was a reinforced trolley. A trolley can push 1000 kilograms, at least twice a day, sometimes three times, which requires a lot of physical strength. Because there are many materials, some distant villages also use ox carts and carriages to transport stones to Shidao. At that time, there was no tower crane, and the building was completely moved by hand. Each stone is at least 100 kg, and craftsmen use their strength to build stones layer by layer. Scaffolding began when the stone was built to the height of about one person. Scaffolding is built slowly, and there are people on each layer of scaffolding. People on the ground carried the stone to the first scaffold and then passed it to the top floor layer by layer. When some heavy and big stones can't be moved by hand, craftsmen set up pulleys. It is this "swallows with mud" architecture that makes stone buildings rise from the ground. This kind of stone building with no carved appearance is very popular because of its thick wall, warm in winter and cool in summer. In the 1980s, after solid bricks were widely used, people never built this kind of stone building again. There are nearly 20 stone buildings * * *(Shidao * * *, many of which have experienced vicissitudes, but their styles remain the same. Shidao government has continuously strengthened the protection of this building with local characteristics, registered and catalogued the existing stone buildings one by one, and established detailed files. At the same time, all property units are required to protect the appearance of stone buildings during repairs.
