2. Deliberate creation is by no means excellent calligraphy. Calligraphy works to the ancients are not out of what we call "creation" today, but a practical "writing". Most scholars in ancient times were able to write good words, even if they were poor, they would not be bad, such as those anonymous epitaphs, simplified account books and so on.
3. Calligraphy has been a "path" since ancient times, and a writer has a long way to go from the "avenue". What the ancients thought of as "avenue" refers more to the way of governing the country and ensuring peace. The "avenue" in the eyes of the ancients needs to be expressed by the thought of calligraphy articles. Therefore, although calligraphy is a tool, its significance is also significant. But for the avenue, calligraphy has a long way to go to become everyone. It is hard to appear in modern times.
4. It is calligraphy that makes articles, and articles also deeply influence calligraphy. Writing and ink are complementary to each other, and they are indispensable to each other. Even after the production of movable type printing, even in the era of electronic technology, it can not replace the calligraphy meaning of literati.
5. Knowledge and cultivation are still the basic requirements of calligraphy creation. In modern society, the brush tool is neglected, and the society no longer regards calligraphy as a general requirement for scholars. The further refinement of disciplines and the introduction of western technology have even changed the meaning of scholars. However, no matter how the society progresses, the inherent requirements such as knowledge and cultivation are still the basic requirements of the title of calligrapher.
6. Most members of China Book Association have many problems in their cultural accomplishment.
There were many calligraphers in every period in ancient times, but the separation of literature and ink in modern society made the concept of calligraphers very embarrassing.
(1) Many experts and scholars who have a solid knowledge base have poor handwriting, and even some professors in famous universities can't compare their calligraphy level with that in the Republic of China, so it is no exaggeration to describe it as declining and plummeting;
(2) Some people who have a high level of calligraphy are very thin in learning and writing, lacking in comprehensive cultivation and beautiful handwriting, but they always lack literary popularity and bookish spirit;
(3) As for most of the "China Calligraphers Association", although they have made many dazzling achievements in the exhibition, these people have not even passed the basic literary literacy, and typos and misuse of traditional Chinese are everywhere, which is ridiculous.
The above three types of people account for no less than 9% of the current calligraphy industry, but do these people have anything to do with calligraphers?
7. The members of contemporary China Book Association are too bookish. The "Tao" of calligraphy exists partly in stippling pen and ink, and partly in the author's mind, which is manifested by specific words. The breath of calligraphy may not be expressed in words, but it must be felt.
