Speech under the national flag: New semester, new starting point, new dreams, new achievements
Teachers and students:
The summer heat is gradually disappearing, and the golden breeze is refreshing. We are about to usher in a new school year and welcome 471 new students. We are standing on a new starting line and starting a new journey.
During the summer vacation that just ended, under the guidance of our goals of “resting, self-study, and keeping fit”, we believe that most students have had a fulfilling, rich, and efficient summer vacation. Some students use their summer vacation to study and travel to enrich their experiences and grow their talents; some students make good use of their summer vacation to develop their specialties and enhance their quality; some students serve as volunteers to spread civilization; and some students sweat profusely and train hard, preparing to bring glory to the school.
The robot representative of our school went to Northeast China to participate in the competition and won the second prize in the country. In the National Youth Innovation Competition, our school's Gujing project won the second prize nationally. Teacher Guo Shi'an was also invited to give a wonderful report to the national science and technology counselors. 10 students participated in the National College Science and Technology Summer Camp XX Camp and gained a lot. The school's science and technology work Go to a new level.
Our school’s track and field team braved the high temperature to train hard, and the swimming and badminton athletes also made full use of the summer vacation to improve their skills. The badminton team went to Nanjing to participate in the provincial middle school student badminton competition and won three championships in the high school group. During the summer vacation, our school was also rated as an advanced school in sports work in XX City. Two senior high school students were successfully admitted to undergraduate sports majors in colleges and universities, which once again confirmed that sports is also a good way out.
This summer we have achieved remarkable results in the internationalization of education. Nearly 40 graduates from our school’s International Department have all been admitted to famous universities in the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia, and our overseas direct class project has won the first battle. Our 30 classmates successfully completed their study trip to American universities and gained a lot. Twenty American students from the U.S. Department of State program studied in our school for six weeks, which became a special feature of our school's summer vacation. It ended perfectly due to the active participation, careful design and hard work of many of our teachers and more than 20 classmates and families.
We organized summer social practice activities with the theme of Wu culture. The students have a better understanding and deeper feelings for Wu culture. Our school’s Wu Culture Education has been rated as the XX Provincial Curriculum Base. We will increase investment, step up construction, create a brand and create characteristics. Wu culture is a treasure of Chinese culture and the most attractive business card of Suzhou. It is our goal to make every student have a good quality of Wu culture.
This summer, nine students over the age of 18 were approved to join the Communist Party of China and became glorious probationary members of the Communist Party of China. We used the summer vacation to conduct the opening ceremony of the 18th Amateur Party School and study some courses to help students establish communist beliefs and establish new and higher life goals.
During the summer vacation, our graduates received university admission notices with excellent results. Thank you to your alma mater and teachers! Start their new life path. It was the school that made them successful, and they also made the school successful. Centenary No. 1 Middle School became a famous school through the growth of many alumni. A new school year, new students, this is the school's endless life and passing on the fire from generation to generation. Just before the start of school, our first-year high school classmates have completed military training and entrance education, prepared for high school study, and become new members of Centenary No. 1 Middle School.
Classmates and teachers! The new semester has begun. The first-year students in high school must adapt to high school studies as soon as possible. The second-year students in high school must adjust their study arrangements according to their subject selection. The third-year students in high school are entering the final year of review for the exam. Every student and every stage is important. It is all very difficult, so I would like to take this opportunity to express two hopes to you:
First, I hope that you will develop the habit of active learning. Physicist Li Zhengdao wrote an inscription on our school in 1999: Learning requires knowledge, and only learning and answering is not knowledge. It means: Knowledge is learned by asking and thinking by oneself, and knowledge must be digested before it can be transformed into our knowledge. Active learning requires being the master of learning, being diligent in thinking, good at accumulating, and taking the initiative to put forward your own opinions.
Finally, I wish our school’s 2009 Wisteria Campus Culture and Arts Festival a complete success!
Teacher’s Speech on Teacher’s Day
Dear teachers and classmates: Good morning!
I am very happy to have such an opportunity on such a beautiful day, allowing me to speak my mind and share the happiness of Teacher's Day with my colleagues and students.
This year is my 18th year of work. Looking back, over the past 18 years, I have worked and toiled along the way. Although there were times when I was confused and confused, but more often than not, I was surprised by another village, so I am still very happy. of. When honors fell on my head one after another, and when everyone's praises came to my ears, I was terrified. Because when I look around, I see so many outstanding colleagues who are either calm and down-to-earth, rigorous and diligent, or smart and smart. They also put in a lot of effort and achieve a lot of achievements in the face of the complicated work every day. Compared to everyone else, I am so lucky.
I often wonder, what does the title of teacher mean to me? What kind of life has it brought to me? At the graduation ceremony of the class of 2002, the monitor hugged me affectionately and said in my ear: "Teacher, you must be happy!" Yes, I have done it for so many years, and I have gained a lot of happiness.
I am happy because I love my students. Loving students is a teacher’s bounden duty. I can’t remember how many times I went out early and came back late, nor how many times I had heart-to-heart conversations with students... I only remember that the students helped me slowly walk down the stairs when I was physically inconvenient; I only remember a certain The bag of lollipops at the door of the office in the morning... Yes, I love you. I firmly believe that every student is a golden seed. Even if it is just a grass, this grass can have it as it grows. A healthy and happy life. I want to lead students with my own happiness and infect students with my own smile.
I am happy because I love my school. I have been associated with this school for 25 years. I spent my student days on this campus. From student to teacher, my identity changes, my perspective of observation changes, my perspective of thinking changes, but what remains unchanged is my love for this school. Deep down in my heart, I have regarded this place as another home for me. I am familiar with every plant and tree here: this is the playground where I took physical education classes, my high school classroom, and my respected head teacher. Teacher, my classmates, and so many lovely students. Over the years, we have worked together to bring new life to this century-old school. We are a family. We love each other and work hand in hand. This family will definitely become more and more prosperous.
I am happy because I love my career. I firmly believe that I do what I do best. For me, teaching is not only a profession, but also a career. Education is an interaction of life. In this process, I feel the power of spring. Each and every vigorous young person starts from here and continues to move forward, and I am their companion. What a good feeling it is. ah! The teaching profession is not without troubles and hardships, and it is unavoidable that it is sometimes monotonous and boring. But if you can read every child's face and enter every child's heart, you will really find: Happiness is bustling from now on!
I am very happy, I will continue to walk on this road of happiness!
Finally, I would like to extend my best holiday wishes to all my colleagues: I wish you good health and a happy family.
