A friend invited me to visit Shigong Mountain before, but I was unable to make the trip due to business reasons. Later, I passed by Mingyuewan Ancient Village when I went to Mingyue Bay Ancient Village, but it was too late and I was unable to visit. This time I finally got my wish.
Shigong Mountain is both a mountain and a peninsula surrounded by water on three sides. The mountain is almost an island, and the island is a mountain. It is located at the southeastern end of Xishan Island in Taihu Lake. It can be said that there is an island within an island.
The trees on the mountain are lush and green, and the water of Taihu Lake below the mountain is rippling. Shigong Mountain is like a green snail or a piece of jasper floating in the water.
Shigong Mountain was named after a stone that looked like an old man in front of the mountain. It no longer exists, leaving only the name Shigong. Also disappearing was a Shi Po stone on the opposite side.
Shigong Mountain is not high, less than 50 meters. In Suzhou, the mountains are very "delicate", so you can't be too high. This height is also more suitable for the elderly or people like me who are not very strong to play.
Famous attractions include the Shigong Temple where Master Haideng practiced for ten years, the plum blossom pile used for martial arts training, the Lanxi Pavilion where you can watch the sun and the moon shine together, and the Mingyue Slope, which is a good place to watch the moon and overlook Taihu Lake. Lian Yunting, Yixian Tian who is extremely friendly to thin people, and so on.
Let’s look at each scene one by one.
After entering the gate, you are in front of Shigong Mountain covered with green trees. If you go up the mountain to the right, you can start the tour from the Juxiang Pavilion. If you go to the left, you will be close to the exit. But because I have to go to the bathroom next to Shigong Temple, I still Selected left.
The first attraction you see is the Corolla Stone, which shows the crown of flowers. Anyone who has read Water Margin knows about the Huashi Gang. Suzhou is one of the hardest-hit areas. This is one of the Huashi Gang ruins. .
Shigong Temple is not big, it can even be said to be extremely small, but it is still magnificent and has its own characteristics: the integration of Zen and martial arts. There is a plum blossom pile for practicing plum blossom boxing in the temple. Master Hai Deng has been the master of the temple for ten years, and the plum blossom pile is used for his martial arts training. There are also photos of monks practicing martial arts on the piles on the Internet. Unfortunately, I was not there and did not see the wonderful scene of walking on the piles.
There is the Bone Pagoda of Master Haideng behind the temple.
Master Haideng was persecuted and left at that time. Otherwise, he would probably have continued to live in this beautiful place, getting along harmoniously with the surrounding residents and having fun. In this way, he might not have become famous in the future, but he would not have There was a huge controversy later. Fortunately or unfortunately, it is difficult to say clearly.
Outside the temple is a small lake called Lotus Pond, surrounded by green trees, forming a lake-in-a-lake pattern with Taihu Lake not far away.
We walked through the stone path and came to the edge of Taihu Lake. Willow branches were blowing in the water, and the water was turbulent. In the distance, the water and sky were the same color, and the islands seemed to be floating in the water. In the distance, there were the stretching remnants of Tianmu Mountain. Occasionally, there are motor boats passing by at lightning speed, and the waves are splashing.
Going forward from Shigong Temple, you will see a large gray and gentle hillside, which is Mingyue Slope. Imagine the scene of ancient literati gathering here to admire the moon: the bright moon is hanging high in the sky, the waves of Taihu Lake are sounding, the leaves on the mountains are rustling, they are changing cups and cups, reciting poems, and talking loudly, how comfortable it is.
It is said that Wu Wang Fu Chai and Xi Shi often came here to admire the moon. I feel that King Fucha is really free and often travels around.
Mingyuepo goes up the stone steps, passes through a small pavilion, and reaches the mountain. It is shaded by green trees, green grass, and extremely cool. It is really a summer resort.
Lanxi Pavilion is one of the four major moon-viewing resorts in China, and it is also a place to watch the wonders of the sun and moon shining together. However, Shigong Mountain is not open at night. Regardless of whether the sun and moon shine together, or you can watch the moon on the Mingyue Slope in front, it is right. For ordinary tourists, they can basically only dream about it. However, looking out from the pavilion is a good place to enjoy the lake.
The ladder is towering and difficult to climb. Of course, climbing is prohibited.
A sunset cave where the afterglow of the setting sun can penetrate.
The best place to overlook Taihu Lake is Lianyunting. The ripples of light, clouds and shadows are unobstructed. From a distance, there are islands beyond the islands, mountains beyond the mountains, and sky beyond the sky. The Mingyue Slope below is also vivid in my mind.
Not far away is a line of sky. There are one-line sky in many scenic spots, and Tianping Mountain has more, which is divided into one-line sky, two-line sky and three-line sky. However, the one-line sky in Shigong Mountain is extremely narrow, making it difficult for even a fat person to pass. It is forbidden to go down, only to climb up. ***There are fifty-three levels, which means "Fifty-three ginseng, refer to the Buddha."

The most ingenious bridge in the world is the Yiying Bridge, which is built very cleverly, like a half moon crossing the two banks. The waterside pavilion can be accessed under the bridge, but unfortunately it is not allowed to pass now, so you cannot go to the waterside pavilion to lean on the railing and face the wind, and experience the sense of transcendence.
I didn’t take a closer look at the Jieliang Temple. I climbed up to Duanshan Pavilion, Laihe Pavilion and Yaoyue Pavilion. This place means "Come to Heting when you have time".
The Master Haideng Exhibition Hall is closed, so I couldn't go in to see it.
The Shunzhi Emperor's calligraphy treasure "Royal Ink Stele", take a look at the "Respect" How about the calligraphy of the word "Buddha"?
See the plum blossom pile again.
It was originally the Fuyu Beitang for receiving female guests.
Guiyun Cave.

The Moon Gate is very ancient. After walking outside the Moon Gate, you will find the Orange Pavilion. I didn’t notice if there were any orange trees around.
There is also a Corolla Cave, but I didn’t find it. , it’s not very important, I’ll go there next time.
I would like to stay at night and enjoy the beautiful scenery at night, but I don’t have time.
Express bus No. 11. It takes more than an hour to get there from Mudu. There are B&Bs nearby, and if you have enough money, you can find restaurants to taste special dishes such as Taihu Sanbai. The prices at the attractions are naturally a bit expensive, but fortunately, it is rare to hear that Suzhou attractions are sky-high. It's a rip-off.
If you still have time, you can go to Mingyuewan Ancient Village. It's about half an hour's walk from Shigong Mountain. It closes at 4:30 in the afternoon and you can go in next to it, but it's just a little closed. The attractions in the museum are no longer visible.
