Meng (1939. 10——) is a native of Lishu County, Jilin Province. Influenced by his family, he loved calligraphy since childhood. He is a member of China Federation of Literary and Art Circles Painting and Calligraphy Art Center, the fifth president of China Couplet Society, the member of China Calligraphers Association, the member of China Poetry Society, and the vice president of the air force veteran cadre painting and calligraphy research society. He is a famous contemporary couplets and calligrapher in China. Many works have been collected by museums and memorial halls, and some works have been engraved in The Analects of Confucius and Forest of Steles in the South of the Yangtze River. Many works have been spread overseas and collected by friends in Japan, South Korea, Singapore, the United States and other countries.
