Wang Wei: The gentle and jade-like male god

?Among the poets of the Tang Dynasty, Wang Wei is my favorite.

?Wang Wei, a humble gentleman, as gentle as jade, is an out-and-out male god.

The entry requirement for a male god—good looks

?There is a legend about Wang Wei’s appearance.

?In the Tang Dynasty, it was not easy for scholars to pass the imperial examination. Not to mention, the great writers Li Bai, Du Fu, and Meng Haoran did not pass the exam. That's because if you want to become an official through the imperial examination, you need both talent and connections. In the year when Wang Wei took the exam, it was said that he was also determined to be the number one scholar. Behind the quasi-number one scholar stood the most favored princess in the dynasty. At that time, Wang Wei, who was bent on making great achievements, approached King Qi and asked for help. So, after King Qi's careful planning, Wang Wei appeared in front of the princess. Later, Wang Wei was the top pick that year. We can only imagine what Wang Wei looks like. According to historical records, it is probably that "the wonderful years are pure and white, and the appearance is beautiful." Later, there was a legend that Wang Wei was spotted by the princess and took her. Although it is nonsense, it can be seen from it that Wang Wei must be good-looking.

?If you want to be promoted to a male god, looks are obviously not enough. You know, we women don’t just look at faces! We don’t just look at the face, we mainly look at the temperament.

?When it comes to temperament, one must mention Wang Wei’s background.

Since the Wei and Jin Dynasties, the influence of aristocratic families on society has become more and more profound. The Langya Wang family already had the title of the first wealthy family during the Wei and Jin Dynasties. And Wang Wei is said to be a descendant of the Langya Wang family. Wang Wei's mother is the daughter of Boling Cui. What is this concept? The Qinghe or Boling Cui family, the Fanyang Lu family, the Zhaojun or Longxi Li family, the Xingyang Zheng family, and the Taiyuan Wang family were the most noble families in the Tang Dynasty and were known as the five surnames. These five families relied on their status and bloodline. Apart from internal intermarriage, even the royal family ignored them.

?Langya Wang Clan, Boling Cui Clan, Wang Wei’s life experience is his confidence.

?Wang Wei’s charm, which can travel through thousands of years of time and directly kill people in modern times, is mainly because of his talent.

?He is a rare all-rounder in history.

?We all know that Wang Wei’s poems are good. I also know that his pastoral poems are particularly well written. "The bright moon shines among the pines, and the clear spring flows up the rocks", and "When you walk to a waterless place and sit and watch the clouds rise", most people can cherish it. However, there is nothing strange about being able to only write pastoral poems. As soon as Wang Wei wrote farewell, "I urge you to have another glass of wine, and there will be no old friends when you leave Yangguan in the west", it has been sung by Yuan Er to this day; when he wrote about the frontier, there was a swan song of "The solitary smoke is straight in the desert, and the sun is setting in the long river"; he wrote about lovesickness, "Red beans grow in the South" entrusts the sentiments of many lovers; he writes about climbing high, and on the Double Ninth Festival everyone sings "Putting dogwood everywhere leaves one less person".

?The poem is so well written, but Wang Wei said that he was "a poet in his previous life, and a painter in his predecessor". In layman's terms, this sentence means that I only write poems for fun, and my main occupation is actually painting. Well, let me ask for the psychological shadow area of ??other poets in the Tang Dynasty. However, Wang Wei's paintings are really good. Just like the Huashan School has the Sword Sect and the Qi Sect, Chinese landscapes also have the Southern Sect and the Northern Sect. Wang Wei's splash-ink landscape paintings are the representative works of the Nanzong, and Wang Wei is also regarded as the ancestor of the Nanzong. The history books commented on Wang Wei's paintings like this: The painter was so absorbed in the painting that the mountains and horizons were far away, and the clouds and rocks were colored. The painter thought that heaven's secrets had come to him, and the scholars were not as good as him. Qian Zhongshu called him "the number one figure in the painting circle of the prosperous Tang Dynasty".

?As a category of art, there is no distinction between calligraphy and painting, and Wang Wei’s calligraphy is also quite famous. He was good at cursive script and official script. Historical records commented that he was "skilled in cursive script" and used one word to describe his calligraphy level - "exquisite".

Parallel to his poetry achievements is Wang Wei’s musical talent. Someone once collected the "Picture of Playing Music" and didn't know what it was about, so he asked Wang Wei. Wang Wei looked at it and said, "This is the first beat of the three layers of "The Song of Colorful Feathers"." This person attracted music. Worker performance, it is indeed the case. Every time I read this story, I will inevitably think of the allusion of "The song is wrong and Zhou Langgu is wrong".

?The male god Wang Wei is still a passionate but not unfeeling person, dedicated but not unfeeling.

To say he is passionate means that he is rich in emotions. He used the poem "Remembering Shandong Brothers on September 9th" to express his feelings of friendship and resentment towards his brothers; he used the poem "Send Yuan Er Envoy to Anxi" to express his concern for his friends and his attachment when leaving them. He expresses his endless longing for his lover with "May you pick more", and expresses his longing for his hometown with the sentence "There are no flowers in the cold plums".

?It is said that he is extremely affectionate because of his deep affection for the people he loves. According to historical records, Wang Wei lost his wife in middle age at the age of thirty-one, and never remarried for the rest of his life. Later, he devoted his love to mountains and rivers and Buddhist Zen, so he was so forgetful of love! Wang Wei served his mother and was famous for his filial piety. According to historical records, when his mother died, Wang Wei was in mourning and his body was broken and he almost did not survive. Zhang Jiuling had the kindness to know and support Wang Wei. Later, after Zhang Jiuling was framed and demoted by Li Linfu, Wang Wei became disappointed with the officialdom of the Tang Dynasty and lived a semi-official and semi-hidden life.

?Would you date Wang Wei who is good-looking, talented, and passionate?
