However, due to his patriotic stance and the same experience of national destruction, he had a deep respect and sympathy for Li Qingzhao. Li Qingzhao's ci was widely circulated in the early Du Nan. In the sixteenth year of Shaoxing (1 146), Yao Zeng compiled Yuefu Ya Ci and selected twenty-three Li Qingzhao Ci.
