Luo Fukan likes calligraphy since he was a child. /kloc-started to study huangfujunbei in Ou Yangxun at the age of 0/2, and changed his face at the age of 0/5. /kloc-after he was 0/8 years old, he devoted himself to studying the inscriptions of the Han, Wei and Six Dynasties and various calligraphy styles, especially Ode to Shimen, Cao Quanbei, Le Yi Post and Urgent Chapter. It is believed that ode to Shimen can escape to ancient times spiritually, and cowards have no reason to want it. He is good at absorbing the strengths of various factions, making them merge in writing and become a generation of Cao Zhang masters. Luo Fukan's Cao Zhang is simple, graceful, vigorous, strong-willed, and sharp-edged. His brushwork is like a knife cutting a sword, and he is never weak. Talking about Luo Fukan, Chen Yongzheng said in the History of Lingnan Calligraphy: "The restoration of Cao Zhang's elegance and gracefulness originated from the historical tour Jizhang and Suo Jing's Ode to the Teacher, so it is vigorous and powerful. However, when using a pen, the method of connecting grass is adopted, and the pen is strong, that is, the so-called maturity and fluidity. Fu Kan praised Zhang Shi Bi, a song book, calling it "adept", which is also Fu Kan's pursuit of calligraphy. Add Song Ke's lightness and fluency to the vigorous and powerful painting, and you can get married. " In the early years of the Republic of China, the word "one yuan" of silver dollar was written by Luo Fukan. Luo Fukan's inscriptions and works were often seen in Yilin Monthly and Yilin Xunxun published in Beijing in his early years, and he was praised as "the first person in modern Cao Zhang" in newspapers and periodicals. Mr. Qi Gong, a master of contemporary calligraphy, once said that "those who learned from Cao Zhang at that time pushed Mr. Luo Fukan", which shows that his skill is profound and admirable.
Luo Fukan likes Cao Zhang's works. In order to develop the integration of Cao Zhang, he has been studying hard all his life, getting older and stronger. After more than 70 years old, his left arm can't be straightened, and he still practices ink continuously every day. He not only studies tirelessly, but also teaches people tirelessly. He is also diligent and convincing to those who come to study art. He once wrote Sixty Disciples in the Book, and taught students with his insightful calligraphy theory. One of them said, "Only by studying thousands of books can you become successful, and only by learning more can you master it. Here, you have a poetic spirit. You believe that people are not named after waves. " As the saying goes: "Words are like people", Luo Fukan's calligraphy is thin and hard, just like a pine tree and a noble scholar, and his character is also upright and selfless. He disdained those arrogant people who wanted to pretend to be calligraphers, never praised their titles, and showed noble moral sentiments. It can be seen that calligraphy is indispensable for literature and moral cultivation in addition to skills.
Luo Fukan is good at calligraphy and writes in his spare time. Thanks to the Song people, his poems follow the styles of Li Yishan (Li Shangyin), Chen Houshan (Chen Shidao) and Huang Tingjian, and are called "Three Mountains" because they have their own rooms. His works include Sanshan Poetry Talk and Sanshan Poetry Talk. Mr. Kang Youwei once corrected and deleted his poems, and praised: "I am good at controlling the vertical direction, pursuing vigorous movements, thin and hard, and more energetic than before." The manuscript of this poem was copied by Luo Fukan himself and then presented to yenching university (Peking University) Library as a rare collection. Three Mountains Poems was written by Luo Fukan in his later years. This book is photocopied in Hong Kong, and its brushwork is old and healthy, which is rare in contemporary book circles. Besides being good at calligraphy, Luo Fukan is also good at painting. He once copied the landscape scroll "Jiang Ting Qiu Mu" by Song Jue, a painter of Ming Dynasty. Painting flowers, depicting the green vine (Xu Wei) and Baiyang (Chen Chun), with books in the painting, is refreshing and refined. Chen Shengcong's Poems in the Pavilion says that Luo Fukan's paintings are the best, but few people know about them. I occasionally make colorful flowers or draw a double hook, which is elegant and healthy. "But painting is not easy to show people, and it is rare and precious.
In the early years of the Republic of China, he worked in the Spring Coin Department of the Ministry of Finance, and he wrote the word "one yuan" with the head of Yuan Shikai. Later, he taught calligraphy in Beijing Institute of Art and Peking University College of Literature for a long time. After the founding of New China, he became a librarian in the Central Museum of Literature and History. Good at Cao Zhang.
