Zhang Zhongyu's major works

Initially transferred to Shidao and Qingdao Foreign Trade Bureaus from 1948, and transferred to the Central Foreign Trade Department from 1952. After the Cultural Revolution, he returned to pen and ink and began to exhibit his works in the 1970s. 1984 after retirement, engaged in calligraphy education. He used to be the principal of painting and calligraphy school, distinguished professor of China Painting and Calligraphy Correspondence University, and served as a professor of calligraphy in senior universities, central ministries and commissions, the General Political Department of the General Staff Department and the Central Party School. Calligraphy and painting works created in recent twenty years (good at regular script, running script, cursive script, official script, northern script and other calligraphy styles, especially running script). He has participated in many important exhibitions at home and abroad, and his works have been published in many newspapers and periodicals all over the country, and have been included in more than 0 dictionaries and collections such as Who's Who of Contemporary Artists in China, Dictionary of Contemporary Calligraphers in China and Who's Who of the World. He has published six books, including An Overview of the Law and Methods of Running Grass (two episodes before and after), How to Learn the Preface of the Holy Religion, Thousand-character Works, and Running Script with Zhuge Liang as the Teacher. At the invitation of Life magazine of French Kirin Friendship Association, he wrote On China's Calligraphy, and recently wrote a cursive thousand words.
