Calligraphy is light and windy.

Mr. Qi Gong is a famous contemporary painter and calligrapher. In addition, he has many titles, such as educator, classical philologist, appraiser, redologist, poet, master of Chinese studies and so on. Mr. Qi Gong is an admirable scholar, who has extensive subject knowledge and fruitful research results in the field of traditional culture. His good friend Huang Miaozi also called Mr. Qi Lao "Mr. Wen Tong".

Ordinary people's understanding of Qigong mostly stays in his famous paintings and calligraphy. In fact, this is only one aspect of Mr. Qi. In order to comprehensively introduce his life and his research achievements in various fields, Zhao, a retired professor from the College of Literature of Beijing Normal University, wrote a book "Comments on the Achievement of Success" and made a comprehensive and systematic evaluation.

Professor Zhao is the first batch of Qigong graduate students. He has been following Qigong for nearly 30 years and devoted himself to the topic of "Qigong research" for a long time. He is not only familiar with the academic achievements of Qigong, but also with Qigong in life. Therefore, in this book on Qigong, he tried to show readers a "complete Qigong, real Qigong, living Qigong".

Qi Gong named his residence "Jianjingju". This name is taken from the inkstone used by Emperor Kangxi in his collection, which is engraved with the inscription of Kangxi, "A stone with one punch takes its firmness, and a spoonful of water takes its net".

Sword Sutra can be said to be an accurate portrayal of Qigong's character.

Zhao Ba's life is divided into three stages: childhood loneliness, middle-aged frustrations and old-age spring. Qi function overcame the tempering in the first half of life, and finally ushered in the peak of life and career in his later years, relying on the "firm and clean" character.

When Qi Gong was just one year old, his father Hengtong died of lung disease, and his childhood life and enlightenment education had to rely on the help of his great-grandfather and grandfather. Unfortunately, when Qi Gong was ten years old, his great-grandfather died and his life was in trouble again. Since then, Qi Gong, his mother and aunt's family have relied on the assistance raised by his grandfather's protector to maintain their basic livelihood. Although his family was poor and his life was poor, Qigong never complained about others, always cherished learning opportunities, and assiduously learned knowledge of ancient prose, poetry, books, painting and other aspects from all the teachers he met, laying a solid foundation for literature and art.

At the age of 18, Qigong had to drop out of Huiwen Middle School because of the exhaustion of AIDS. Soon, Qigong obeyed his mother's orders and married a virtuous and kind wife, Zhang Baochen, trying to take on the heavy responsibility of a family of four. After that, Qi Gong got to know his tutor, Chen Yuan, and with the help of Chen Yuan, he entered Fu Jen Catholic University for three times, which not only solved the difficulties in life, but also embarked on a career path of teaching and scientific research.

In fact, Qi Gong has a distinguished family background and is the ninth generation grandson of Yong Zhengdi. However, the noble royal lineage not only failed to give him a rich life and a superior future, but brought him more trouble than others in a special period. Therefore, Qi Gong often said, "My name is Qi Gongming. I don't eat the rice of my ancestor Essien Joro. I don't touch my ancestor's money. I shouldn't be a child of the Eight Banners." Throughout his life, Qigong has always been self-reliant, and his achievements in learning depend on hard work and perseverance.

In the "bumpy middle age" stage, Qigong suffered multiple blows in his career, demotion and salary reduction, and life became more and more difficult. However, instead of being defeated, he turned suffering into opportunity. For example, he used the opportunity of copying newspapers to continue practicing hard, and occasionally drew a small picture with a piece of paper when he was resting from work, so as to adjust his mood, enjoy his body and mind, and temporarily forget his troubles. During the painful period when my mother, aunt and especially my wife died, I began to write poems to express my deep condolences and thoughts for my loved ones.

The first half of Qigong was full of ups and downs, but he always spent one difficulty after another with his perseverance. What is more commendable is that he can not only fight hard with a firm attitude, but also be peaceful with a "clean" attitude. He always keeps a pure heart and despises suffering and those who bring him suffering. He doesn't complain, doesn't care, and has a broad mind.

Qi Gong once taught at Fu Jen Catholic University, and studied under his tutor Chen Yuan. In fact, the first two were fired by Zhang Huai because of their low academic qualifications. However, he never hated Zhang Huai for it, but thanked Zhang Huai for inspiring himself to work harder in disguise. Therefore, after Zhang Huai's death, Qigong sincerely sent a pair of elegiac couplets: "I am successful, and my husband can't wait; To repay your kindness is to die in the future. "

In the spring of his later years, when he ushered in the peak of his career, Gong Kai still adhered to the "firm and clean" character, being honest, innocent, supercilious, and sticking to the bottom line without losing human feelings.

Mr. Qi became famous all over the world in his later years, and many strangers came here. Some people want a picture of Mr. Qi, and some even just want to meet a real person. If someone oppresses others with power or tempts others with property, he will only refuse directly and never be afraid to offend these people. On the contrary, when attending activities, he is willing to send words of encouragement to those hardworking and simple ordinary staff.

"Honesty" is the character pursuit that Qigong insists on all his life. Regardless of the ups and downs in the first half of life or the success in his later years, Qigong has always maintained a "clean and honest" heart, laughing at suffering, despising fame and fortune, and being loyal to himself.

Qi Gong has high attainments in poetry, calligraphy, painting and appraisal. These admirable achievements are all due to his good study and mastery. On the basis of imitating predecessors, I kept trying to figure out and practice more, and finally formed my own unique creative style. Moreover, he never completely separated different arts such as poetry, books and paintings, but merged them into one furnace, bringing out the best in each other.

Say "Bo" first. When qigong learns every art, it is willing to take the initiative to learn from different teachers and experts, thus benefiting from more teachers. Besides, we will spend a lot of energy to study and study the works of the ancients. Behind "Bo" is "diligence" beyond ordinary people.

In order to learn painting, Qi Gong first studied "laity painting" with Jia Ximin and then "expert painting" with Wu Jingting, and was also deeply influenced by Fu Xinshe, Pu Xuezhai and Qi Baishi. Park Xue-zhai thought that poetry should be the first art of painting and calligraphy, and advocated learning painting before learning poetry, which also deeply influenced Qigong.

In order to learn poetry, Qi Gong first recited a large number of ancient poems. Many poems in The Book of Songs, poems of Han, Wei and Six Dynasties, poems of Tang and Song Dynasties, poems of Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties and modern poems have all been memorized. Moreover, he not only chose famous books to recite, but also recited some excellent but obscure poems.

In order to learn appraisal, Qi Gong often followed Jia Ximin to the Forbidden City, watched ancient works, listened to Jia's explanation of painting style and artistic conception, learned the brushwork and unique style of famous ancient painters from Wu Jingting, and judged whether the works belonged to the habits of the corresponding painters from the pen and style. In addition, I also learned a lot of material evidence identification knowledge from teachers such as Su Tifu, Li Mengdong and Lian, the folk masters of Liulichang.

When learning every art and knowledge, Qigong can learn from others, many teachers and many works.

The second is "melting". On the basis of "extensive reference and natural digestion", we will integrate and gradually form our own creative style. The process of "melting" also requires "diligence", a lot of practice, more thinking and more pondering, in order to keep improving.

In terms of painting, in the early days, I started with copying and copying, and honed my pen and ink skills. When he was young, Shen's "Peach Garden Map" also stated in the inscription that "it was intended to be written by Yuan people". After accumulating more, it is compatible with all families and integrated into one. At the same time, it is innovative, just like in Sunset in Shan Ye, with red mountains as the main color, the use of color is very bold, and finally gradually forms its own style.

In calligraphy, Qi Gong studied calligraphy with his grandfather since childhood and began to learn terns. He came to Jiucheng Palace's Liquan map and many pagodas, and then copied Zhao Mengfu's Danba monument, Dong Qichang's ci and Zhang Menglong's monument one by one, finally forming a "strange body" with a kind of "simple". Zhao commented on the characteristics of Qi Ti, saying that it is meaningful, soft outside and rigid inside, beautiful and elegant, natural and free and easy, dignified in writing, smooth and natural in stippling, attractive in overall book style, full of natural vitality and vitality, and full of strong book style and popularity of literature.

Qigong's words are "bookish and popular", and Qigong's paintings are also "literati paintings". Mr. Qi once said: "The teachers who teach me painting are all literati, and my paintings are also typical literati paintings in the traditional sense." Qi Gong's paintings are good at "expressing feelings in paintings" and full of poetry. This also shows that Qi Gong combines poetry, calligraphy and painting, and his works naturally reveal his profound knowledge and accomplishment.

Qigong is brilliant and intelligent, and often has original opinions on learning and research. His life is rich in works, some of which are serious and professional academic research results, including ancient Chinese characters, poetic rhythm, China phenomenon, and a large number of works of art such as poems, books and paintings.

Qigong has profound knowledge and amazing memory. When talking with people, a lot of knowledge can often be blurted out without asking. It is simply a "living computer". Huang Miaozi, his good friend, said, "Mr Qi has a treasure chest, so he can show it to others when he is happy. No one has seen how many treasures are hidden in this box. "

Even though he is knowledgeable, he is very modest and humorous in his daily life and work, which is the true nature of this master of learning.

In his speeches in his later years, Qi Gong often used such a humorous opening sentence: "Some people write a book, which can be called a theory, such as thousands of poems written by Du Fu, resentment (omen) and money (modesty). In those days, Hu Shi once used it and laughed at himself as' nonsense'. I am Manchu, and Manchu was called a conference semifinal in ancient times, so what I said can be called' nonsense', which is really nonsense. " Later, he added "nonsense" after "nonsense" because macular degeneration affects vision. Such a modest and humorous opening remark suddenly narrowed the distance between him and the audience and students, and successfully enlivened the atmosphere of the audience.

Apart from many elegant poems with exquisite diction, allusion and rhyme, Qi Gong often wrote some poems similar to "doggerel". These poems are popular and interesting, but they are not frivolous and flashy at all, showing the wisdom of life after suffering.

Qi Gong's "self-written epitaph" is a typical example: "Middle school students, associate professors. Bo is not good, but he is not an expert. Although famous, it is not enough. Neither high nor low. Left paralysis, send to right. The surface is slightly round and the skin is not thick. Wife is dead, and there is no queen. The loss is fresh, but the illness remains the same. Sixty-six, premature, Babaoshan, getting together. In my life, I said I was ugly. The body stinks with the name. "

This epitaph looks simple and humorous. In fact, it was written after he lost his closest and most important mother, aunt, wife and teacher. You can imagine how much he was hit, but he hid all his sadness under humorous words.

Qi Gong wrote many such humorous poems. However, his humor is by no means deliberately clever and clever. His humor contains broad-minded mind, profound philosophy, sad expression, profound knowledge, extraordinary talent and life experience. That's a simple expression of wisdom.

Qigong is indifferent to fame and fortune. Even if he has more honors and titles, what he values most is the job of a teacher. He said: "Those things about painting and writing are marginal and insignificant. My real occupation and title is just a teacher. "

He loves the three-foot platform and cares about the students. On one occasion, the students went to listen to his lecture before it was finished. In order not to delay the later class, he moved the class to the dormitory and chatted happily. The most unforgettable impression he left on the students was his squint, childlike smile and beautiful blackboard writing. His students are about his age and they have a good relationship with him.

Qi Gong drew up the motto for Beijing Normal University, "Learn to be a teacher and be a model", which is also a summary of his teaching career.

Zhao did show a real and vivid success story in Biography of Success: a solid personality, profound knowledge, indifferent to fame and fortune, a master of learning full of true temperament and human feelings in humor, and a pure teacher.
