This statue of the Goddess of World Peace is 10 meters high, weighs 16 tons, and is entirely made of stainless steel. Her arms with dancing ribbons stretched out one after the other, and a dove of peace spread its wings on her high left hand. The streamers that seem to be unfolding in the breeze are connected with the goddess's arms. From a distance, they look like the word "中" for "China", the word "平" for "peace"; and the word "WORLD" in English. The first letter "W" and the first letter "V" of VICTORY (victory). This organic fusion of Chinese and Western characters expresses the common desire of the people of China and France to long for and wish for everlasting world peace. The statue of the Goddess of World Peace created by Yuan Yuan was started in Guangzhou, China on January 18 this year. It was completed in early April. It was shipped from Guangzhou Port on April 15 and arrived in France on the 25th.
