Studied at PLA Art College. His calligraphy started in Yan Liu, followed by Wang Er, and traced back to Qin Zhuan, Wei Bei and Han Li. He studied under Shen Peng, Li Duo and Yang Zaichun. He is good at calligraphy, official script, seal script and other fonts, especially Mao Zedong's cursive script, which is unique and eclectic. Actively follow the essence of Mao Zedong culture, take the lead in applying Mao calligraphy to China's poems and songs in China, and strive to promote Mao calligraphy!
Mao's calligraphy works are collected by Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, Great Hall of the People, Military Museum, Central Committee, China Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Locomotive Memorial Hall, qu yuan memorial hall in zigui county in Zigui County, China, and Mao Zedong's former residence in Wuhan Donghu Hotel. His calligraphy works have been invited for many times and selected for important national calligraphy exhibitions. He has held solo exhibitions and joint exhibitions in the Military Museum, Shanghai Museum, China Communication University Art Museum and Canadian and American University Art Museum.
He has been interviewed and reported by CCTV, People's Daily, Xinhuanet, Zhongqing.com and other well-known domestic media for many times, telling the art of great man's poetry and calligraphy on the world stage.
