The types of art training in Children's Palace include children's painting, sketch, traditional Chinese painting, oil painting, soft pen calligraphy and hard pen calligraphy. Over the past few years, under the guidance of teachers, 100 has won gold, silver and bronze prizes in dozens of national competitions such as "China Children's Calligraphy Competition" and "Hope Cup National Youth Calligraphy Competition". Some students' works represent Beijing to exchange exhibitions in Japan, Canada and other countries.
There are all kinds of scientific and technological activities in the Children's Palace. In addition to English, computer, radio and ship model, the Children's Palace also organizes the "Love Science Month" in the whole region every year, which is deeply loved by primary and secondary school students in the whole region.
