About the author:
Wang Shouren (1472, 10, 3 1- 1529, 1 9), Han nationality, was born in Yuyao County, Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province (now Yuyao City, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province). Famous thinker, philosopher, calligrapher, strategist and educator in Ming Dynasty.
Together with Confucius, Mencius and Zhu, they are also called "masters of mind".
The direct source of Wang Shouren's Wang Xue's theory and thought is Chen Xianzhang and Zhan Ruoshui's "Chen Zhan Xue Xin". The basic course of the development of Xue Xin in Ming Dynasty can be summarized as follows: Chen Xianzhang started, Zhan Ruoshui perfected, and Wang Yangming epitomized.
His academic thoughts spread to China, Japan, Korean Peninsula and Southeast Asia, and his achievements were the best in the next generation. There are so many disciples that they are called Yaojiang School. His articles are broad and prosperous, and there is a natural and unrestrained atmosphere between pen and ink. And Wang Wencheng's Kung Fu book.
At the age of twelve, Wang Shouren officially attended a normal school. At the age of thirteen, his mother Zheng died, and he lost his dependence at an early age, which was a great setback for him. But he is ambitious and has a unique mind. I once discussed with Mr. Shu Shi what is the most important thing in the world. Unlike ordinary people, he thinks that "imperial examination is not the first priority", and the most important thing in the world is to study and be a saint.
At that time, the country's political affairs were corrupt and the rebels were everywhere. During the orthodox period of the British Sect, the British Sect was captured by the Mongolian Vara Department. This incident cast a huge shadow on Wang Shouren's young mind. He vowed to learn the art of war well and serve the country. At the age of fifteen, he wrote to the emperor many times, suggesting to suppress the peasant uprising, but all failed. In the same year, I visited Juyongguan and Shanhaiguan for one month. Looking at the Great Wall, he already has the ambition to run around.
