Romantic figures and deeds in Puyang history

In ancient times, Zhuan Xu, Shun Di and their tribes among the Five Emperors thrived here. Both Zhuan Xu and Di Ku have established their capitals here. Born and raised in Sri Lanka, Shun Di is known as "hometown of Shun Di", "old capital of Zhuan Xu" and "Diqiu".

Cang Xie, the historian of the Yellow Emperor and the founder of Chinese characters, is known as the "sage of word-making". Today, in wucun, 35 miles northwest of Nanle County, there are Cang Xie Ridge, Cangjie Temple and Bookstores. Historians believe that Cang Xie was born in Sri Lanka and was buried there.

Wu Qi (about 440 BC-38 BC1year), a famous strategist and politician, was a native of Zuoshi (now Puyang, Henan Province) who defended the country in the early Warring States period, and wrote Woods' Art of War.
