He loved calligraphy and painting since he was a child. In his early years, he became attached to Yan, Liu, Ou and Er Wang, and extensively dabbled in inscriptions on Qin and Han dynasties and modern calligraphers. He is good at writing in a variety of ways, cursive brushwork is natural and generous, thick, light, dry, moist and empty, and he pursues simplicity and massiness.
Mr. Chen Desheng has been studying calligraphy seriously and assiduously for many years. Up to this year, he has created more than 200 classic works, which has made full preparations for the publication and distribution of his large-scale works and the national exhibition tour.
