Lei Guangyu (1922- 1995), a native of Duihe Village, Sun Jia, Zhuang Town, Luo Zhuang Province, was born in Yigu. Before his death, he was a member of China Calligraphers Association, executive director of Shandong Branch of China Calligraphers Association, calligrapher of Qilu Art Garden and consultant of Linyi Calligraphers Association. He was smart and eager to learn since childhood, and he loved calligraphy very much. At the age of eighteen, he studied under the famous calligrapher Mr. Chen Yunsheng. Regular script was posted from Jiuchengguan and Huadu Temple, and then learned from Duobaota, Magu Xiantan Collection and Xuanmi Pagoda. Every time you learn a post, you should follow it, not only seeking to be more like a spirit, but also achieving the realm of correctness, rigor and strong brushwork; Li Shufa Cao Quan, Zhang Qian, Shimen Song and other inscriptions, with the technique of regular script, with the pen at the end of Li Shu, formed his own style; Cursive teaching "two kings" is particularly impressive; Seal script is called the "iron line" for writing small seal script and historical records. After middle age, in order to broaden his horizons and be courageous, he copied the Valley of the Stone and Sixty Articles of Longmen. For decades, I have been diligent, forge ahead, learn from others' strengths, and formed my own delicate, meaningful, elegant and unique style. He also has profound external skills, studying poetry, learning temperament, elegant poetry books, and often has poetry exchanges with Ouyang Zhongshi and others. Mr. Lei is modest and self-loving. When he was nearly seventy years old, he often wrote "Xiao Lei" and "Han Sheng". Mr. Lei's works were exhibited in Shandong Agricultural Exhibition Hall and Memorial Hall successively. Ouyang, a great calligrapher, personally wrote "Lei Yi Ancient Book Exhibition", and then exhibited in Nanjing Jiangsu Art Museum and Beijing China Art Museum, which was highly praised by calligraphers. His works have been published in journals published in Shandong and Heilongjiang for many times, especially in "Three Hundred Four-Style Calligraphy of Tang Poetry" published nationwide. His "Hundred Blessed Pictures", "Hundred Years Old Pictures", "nave" and "Couplets" have profound skills and are mostly collected by the world and regarded as Mo Bao. Some of his works and biographical portraits have been included in the Dictionary of Contemporary Painters and Seal Carvers and entered into the computer database.

Mr. Lei Guangyu's tireless spirit of climbing the artistic peak in the ocean of calligraphy art has left a model for future generations.
