Calligraphy: practice fonts first and find a calligraphy article you want to practice. At first you only practiced one or two words for a few days! Don't practice article by article. This is the most boring part of learning calligraphy. After writing the font, practice the overall layout. As long as you can stick to 1 hour every day for three consecutive months, it can't be said to be beautiful, but it is definitely good for the students as a whole. This is my personal experience.
Oh, one more thing, remember to write well! At least there should be traces of strokes on the back of the paper, really!
And never practice with a ballpoint pen!
