Wang Guozhen: Born in Beijing on June 22nd, 1956 from Xiamen, Fujian Province, graduated from Beijing No.3 Optical Instrument Factory, and 1982 graduated from the Chinese Department of Jinan University, Guangdong Province. At school, he likes reading and writing poems. From 1985, he concentrated his spare time on poetry creation, during which he wrote a limerick. Since 1980s, he has created a large number of well-known poems, which have touched countless college students, middle school students and teenagers. The first book of poetry, The Wave of Youth, published by 1990 caused a sensation. According to the survey of "Contemporary China Poets Appreciated by People" conducted by Beijing Zero Survey Company in July on residents over 0/8 years old in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing and Xiamen, he ranks first among poets born after the founding of the People's Republic of China.

Wang Guozhen claimed that his creation benefited from four people: Li Shangyin, Li Qingzhao, Pushkin and Dickinson. Since the beginning of the new century, Wang Guozhen began to write songs and lyrics. It was introduced in CCTV programs such as Son of the Orient, Zhengda Variety Show, Super Variety Show and Twelve Studio.
