Pan Zunxian studies hard and reads widely. In the first year of Daoguang (182 1), he took the provincial examination, but was elected as the magistrate of a county. He has served as the magistrate of Shanggao, Pingxiang, Yiyang, Guangfeng, Jinxian, Anyi and Wan 'an in Jiangxi.
He has just broken the rules of politics, paying special attention to getting rid of bad habits and eradicating long-standing abuses. In Shanggao and Pingxiang, there is a bad habit of drowning women. When Pan Zunxian visited, he learned that he was greedy for money, and he performed steadily in the investigation of crimes. Several people were killed by sticks, and his wind stopped. In Anyi, there was a local tyrant who bullied the city and committed heinous crimes. Pan Zunxian arrested him for trial, and the people raised their glasses to celebrate. Farmers along the Yangtze River often fight for canal water. Pan Zunxian surveyed the terrain, dredged the canal, made a township contract, used water according to the contract, and fought in his own way. Pan Zunxian is an upright official, not a powerful person. He once scolded his boss for being greedy and rampant, but resigned and returned to his hometown.
Pan Zunxian is good at calligraphy, and he is more diligent in intensive research after returning to his hometown. His calligraphy style is between Europe and Liu, and it is also the brushwork of the two kings. He is vigorous and graceful, and he is good at learning calligraphy, especially cursive. Known as the first calligrapher of Zhou Qin.
