Susan Temple was the former residence of the Su family. Later generations built it in memory of them during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty, and it was destroyed by war at the end of the Ming Dynasty. In the fourth year of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty, the main hall, the Seven Sages Hall, the Muluoke Hall and the Ruilian Pavilion were rebuilt in the old site on 1665. During the reign of Jiaqing and Guangxu, the Great Hall, Moon-holding Pavilion, Rain Pavilion, Yuyunlou, Cloak Pavilion and West Wild Goose Lake were built successively.
What I see now are all buildings in the Qing Dynasty. There are two ginkgo trees in the yard, which is about 330 years old. Susan Temple surrounded by red walls, green water, ancient trees and bamboo forests is the best tourist attraction, which constitutes a quaint and elegant island house.
There is a couplet hanging at the gate, "Father and son in the Northern Song Dynasty, a scene of Zhou Nan's ancient ancestral temple". Write an inscription for the famous calligrapher of Qing Dynasty. Hanging a huge literary plaque above the front hall is an affirmation of Su San's great achievements in literature. The first part: "A father and son three-character guest", which is easy to understand; The second part of "Four Great Writers of Ancient Articles" has many interpretations.
On the one hand, Su Sanzi is one of the eight great writers in Tang and Song Dynasties, among which Han Yu, Liu Zongyuan, Ouyang Xiu and Su Shi are the most famous, and he is also called the four great prose writers throughout the ages. Second, four famous people in Sichuan history, Yang Xiong, Sima Xiangru, Chen Ziang and Su Shi; Third, Su Guo, the youngest son of Su Shi, Su Xun, Su Zhe and Dongpo, is called Xiaopo and is one of the four great men.
Brief introduction of susan temple
Meishan is the hometown of Su Dongpo. Su Dongpo, his father Su Xun and his brother Su Zhe are all famous for their articles, which have far-reaching influence. They are called "three sows" in history.
Meishan has been a place of Shu since ancient times. Established in 496 AD, the county names are Tong Qi, Guangtong and Yi Tong. In the first year of Taiping Xingguo in the Northern Song Dynasty, it was renamed meishan county in 976, and it was promoted to Meizhou in the Yuan Dynasty. During the Republic of China and the early days of the founding of New China, it was the seat of the District Commissioner's Office, and now it is the seat of Meishan Administrative Office. The county covers an area of 1330 square kilometers with a total population of 780,000. It is a famous historical and cultural city in Sichuan Province named by the provincial government.
Meishan county is located in the alluvial plain in the middle reaches of Minjiang River, with Longquan Mountain in the east and Zonggang Mountain in the west. The mountains are undulating, the mountains are not high and beautiful, the water is not deep and unclear, and the mountains and rivers are charming. "There are many talents in Shu, and Sansu is amazing in the world." Meishan county, represented by the "Three Sows", has always been full of talented people. In the 320 years of the Northern Song and Southern Song Dynasties alone, there were more than 1 100 Jinshi in Jiazhou and Meizhou, and there were 886 Jinshi in Meishan. In the history of Song Dynasty, there were 158 biographies by Sichuan literati, and Meishan accounted for 26 people, which is really "the first humanistic state in the world".
