Jie Shi diaoyoulan

Jieshi Diaoyou Orchid is the earliest existing ancient music score, which is different from the simple music score seen in later generations, and Jieshi Diaoyou Orchid is the only music score.

Discovery of Jieshi Carving the Orchid

The discovery of Jieshi Diaoyou Lan depends on Yang Shoujing, a calligrapher and collector in the late Qing Dynasty (1839- 19 15).

Yang Shoujing 1890 became the Counsellor of the Embassy in Japan. During his stay in Japan, Yang devoted himself to the collection of ancient books, and the then Minister in Japan strongly supported Yang's move. In Japan, he sorted out 26 kinds and 200 volumes of ancient books that had been lost in China, which were called "Ancient Series", one of which was copied by Bao Sutang, and the original order was "Yi Lan" (for the sake of unity, this paper mainly adopted.

"Jieshi Carving the Orchid" was handed down by Qiu Ming, a member of Huiji at the end of Liang Dynasty in the Southern Dynasty. "Because the voice is low, it is difficult to teach people." Later, in three years (when Chen Wei died in the Sui Dynasty), this song spread to Chen Shuming, the king of Yidu (the half-brother of Chen and Chen Houzhu in the Southern Dynasties), and many articles (even academic papers) would be "Yidu".

According to Yang Publishing House, this book is an authentic work of the Tang Dynasty and a treasure of later generations.

According to Qin Shu Daquan, Volume 10, Qin Qujiao, Shu inherited the pulse of Liu Kun, and then "Pu Ming attacked Chen Yidu with a seal", and Pu Ming or Qiu Ming did this. Shi Puming, a native of the Southern Song Dynasty, proofreads the Buddhist sutra Lengyan Sutra. It is not surprising that this Pu Ming is a Buddhist disciple named Qiu Ming. I guess here, from Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties to Sui and Tang Dynasties, many histories are inconclusive and need further textual research.

Tracing the origin of orchid

In the traditional context of China, literati have a specific emotional sustenance for orchids, which are regarded as a symbol of a gentleman because of their quietness and nobleness, especially for expressing their mood when they are not officials.

According to legend, Confucius traveled to 70 countries, but he was not reused. Finally, when he returned to Shandong from Weiguo, he saw orchids growing in hidden valley weeds. Confucius thought that he smelled of orchids and should be treated as a "king" at that time, so he sighed at the wrong time. So he stopped to play the piano and drums and made Cao Lan.

"Confucius family language, Eritrea" contains:

A gentleman is knowledgeable and resourceful, but he is out of date. There are many people, so why not? Besides, Lan Zhi was born in the deep forest, and he was not proud of anyone. Xiu De, a gentleman, is not the same as changing religion because of poverty.

Cai Yong, a great writer, calligrapher and musician in the Eastern Han Dynasty, wrote Cao Qin, which was written by Confucius. Confucius hired vassals, but vassals could not be appointed. Lu fought back in self-defense and saw Mao in the valley. With a sigh, he said: Fran should be the king's fragrance, but now he is the only one, interacting with the grass, just like those virtuous people who have a relationship with their humble husbands at an unfortunate time. Is the only car aid piano drum, cloud:

The valley came quickly and fiercely, with dark clouds and heavy rain.

My sister married in the country today.

It's heaven, not its place.

Happy Kyushu, no fixed abode.

The world is cold, and I don't know sages.

As you get older, you will get older.

Self-injury is not timely, the excuse is.

Zhang Jiuling's Sense, the first of the 300 Tang Poems, was written when he was demoted to Jingzhou as a secretariat. One of them wrote:

Orchids in spring are full of flowers, and osmanthus in autumn is bright and fresh.

Life in the world is full of vitality, which naturally conforms to the beautiful season.

Who wants to live in seclusion in the mountains and smell the fragrance, so full of joy.

Won't it be more demanding to be transplanted than any other natural flower? .

Han Yu's Yi Lan Cao was written when he was demoted to the secretariat;

Orchids are fragrant.

If you don't accept it, you will be hurt.

Today's rotation is natural.

I travel everywhere, day after day, year after year.

Ice and snow trade, wheat prosperity.

If the child doesn't hurt, I won't die.

There are lush wild oats and wild oats.

A gentleman hurts it, but a gentleman prevents it.

They all expressed the same arrogance as Confucius. It can be considered that it is through Confucius and this song that orchids have established their position as a metaphor for gentlemen.

There are four beats in Jieshi Diaoyou Lan, or Cao Cao's Jieshi Pian is used to prove it. Jieshi Pian is one of the representative works of the great writer Cao Cao, also known as "Going out to Xiaxilong". The poem is divided into four chapters: Yan Ci (Overture), Looking at the Sea, Winter in October, Different Land (also known as He) and Guishushou, all of which are true. The quotation is as follows:

Bright clouds walk in the rain, surpassing the height of Jiujiang. Look at the similarities and differences, hesitate, don't know what to do? After Jieshi, I was disappointed in my East China Sea.

See the boundless ocean

On the east coast, climb Jieshi Mountain to see the vast sea.

The sea is so vast that the islands stand high on the sea.

Trees and paraquat are very lush. Autumn wind makes trees make sad sounds, and the sea is surging.

The movement of the sun and the moon seems to come from the vast ocean.

A trip to the sun and the moon, if unexpected;

Han is a talented star, if you take him by surprise.

I am glad to use this poem to express my inner desire.

Winter and October

In October, the north wind haunts,

It's sunny with frost.

Yao Ji sings in the morning, Hongyan flies south,

Storks lurk and bears live in caves.

The money stopped and the crops were harvested.

Set the whole journey and connect with the merchants.

Fortunately, even! Sing with ambition.

Tubutong

The countryside is different. It's winter by the river.

The ship is difficult to sail.

If the cone does not penetrate the ground, it will be deep.

When the water runs out, the ice will dance.

Hermits are poor, brave and chivalrous.

The heart often sighs and complains, which makes people sad.

Fortunately, even! Sing with ambition.

Ju Chi Shou

Although the tortoise has a long life, it still has its time.

The snake rides the fog and eventually turns to dust.

The old horse crouches, aiming at thousands of miles;

The martyrs were full of courage in their later years.

The surplus and contraction period is not only in the sky;

Blessings that nourish grace can last forever.

Fortunately, even! Sing with ambition.

Other versions of Youlan in ancient genealogy

In view of the long history of Youlan and its special significance to literati, Youlan has produced different tunes and versions in the process of spreading in different time and space, and even appeared the titles of Cao Youlan,, Cao,, Youlan,, and Yi Lan. But when it comes to the meaning of music, Confucius' untimely exclamation is basically quoted as an annotation.

I browsed all the ancient genealogies I could see, basically including "Yi Lan". Because of my limited knowledge, I can't sort out their similarities and differences one by one. Here is just an armchair strategist.

Contemporary playing version

According to Mr. Wu in the article "A Study at a Glance":

Until19111914, Yang Zongji, a pianist in the capital, worked hard for three years, carried out pioneering research and made the experimental spectrum of "Xie Shi Diao You Lan". On the basis of determining Jie Shi Diao as the method of guqin tuning, he published Interpretation of the Ancient Fingers of Youlan, and then published Youlan Ballad.

According to Cha Fuxi's statistical sequence, by 1956, seven players had played Youlan, namely Xu, Wu Zhenping, Guan Pinghu, Yu Shaoze and Xue. Modern notation includes Xu, Guan Pinghu, Yu Shaoze, Xue and Chen Shusan (the translation of three-line notation is basically based on the staff of Yang Zongji's Youlan). As far as I know, there are three recorded works: Guan Pinghu and He Xu.

Wu Lao basically tells the story of rebirth after the reappearance of the earth in Jieshi Diaoyou Lan.

The theme song of Confucius released in June, 2065438+00, named You Caolan, was sung by Faye Wong, and the lyrics were adapted from Han Yu's You Caolan.

Orchids are fragrant.

All incense is arched, and its fragrance is faint.

If you don't pick and admire, why does Yu Lan get hurt?

Day after day, year after year, we travel everywhere.

Wang Wen Meng Xiong, Wei Shui boundless.

Take it and enjoy it. It's beautiful and fragrant.

Snow and ice are luxuriant, buds are in winter,

If a gentleman guards against it, future generations will prosper.

Compared with the original poem, the lyrics are less sad and more hopeful.
