According to research, the oldest stone carving in Yunmen Mountain is the statue of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty. The ancient Qingzhou is an important birthplace of Taoism in China. In the Ming Dynasty, Qingzhou vassal dug a cliff giant "Shou" in Yunmen Mountain, built a palace and temple of Prince Yuan, dug a cave in Wanchun, carved a sleeping stone statue of "Chen Tuan's bodhi old zu" and carved a line image, all of which are valuable Taoist cultural heritages in Yunmen Mountain Scenic Area.

In the Book of Changes, there is a saying that "Yang Bu is odd and Yin Bu is even", in which "9" is the number of days, which is the extreme value and maximum value of Yang number, while Yunmen Mountain has 999 stone steps leading to the top of the mountain, which is called changshou road by the locals. Emperor Jiajing of the Ming Dynasty believed in Taoism, and Hengwangfu responded positively and dug a huge longevity cliff. This life is 7.5 meters high and 3.7 meters wide, which is called the first in the world. The brushwork is simple, vigorous and magnificent. Although carved with a thousand axes, it shows no trace. Undoubtedly, it is a treasure that combines calligraphy and stone carving. Over the past 500 years, celebrities have come to pay homage to their birthdays in an endless stream, and Yunmen Mountain in Qingzhou has also become a unique birthday culture.
