Zhang Jiming, male,1born in February 1965, was born in Feicheng, Tai 'an, Shandong. He is currently a second-class calligrapher in China cultural and artistic talent pool, executive director of Confucius Painting and Calligraphy Research Institute in China, member of central state organs, member of Tai 'an Calligraphers Association, member of Feicheng Calligraphers Association, member of Feicheng Old People Painting and Calligraphy Research Association and member of Feicheng Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
Mr Zhang Jiming has been fond of calligraphy since he was a child. In his early years, he studied Liu Gongquan, Yan Zhenqing and other regular script, made persistent efforts to explore the art of calligraphy, and successively completed nearly 100 classic ancient poetry calligraphy works. He is good at learning European-style block letters calligraphy, feeling the charm of China traditional culture from the changes of ink color and lines, and also learning the spirit of ancient calligraphers who are diligent in studying. After decades of precipitation and experience, Mr. Zhang Jiming has gradually formed a unique calligraphy style, which is majestic and both rigid and flexible.
