Li Jie began to build palaces in the seventh year of Yuan Dynasty (1092). The main books that have served as producer include Cheng and Shao Jian. And the official will be the supervisor. Supervise the restoration of palaces, battlements, bridges and ships. During his tenure, he has presided over more than ten major projects, including Wuwangdi, Biyong, Shangshu Province, Longde Palace, Dihuafu, Zhuquemen, Jinglongmen, Jiucheng Hall, Kaifeng House, Taimiao Temple and Qinci Empress Dowager Buddhist Temple.
His great-grandfather Li Weiyin, his grandfather Li Yuyu, his father Li Nangong and his younger brother Li Biao all served in the imperial court. In the eighth year of Yuanfeng in Song Shenzong (A.D. 1085), Li Jie was appointed as the official village official in the suburbs, and was later appointed as the county commandant of Yin Ji, Cao Zhou (now Heze County, Shandong Province). Starting from the seventh year of Tetsuzong Yuanyou (A.D. 1092), he was the director (the institution in charge of civil engineering) for thirteen years. He has served as director, supervisor, junior supervisor and director, and presided over the construction of large-scale buildings, including Longde Palace, Dihuafu, Zhuquemen, Jinglongmen and Jiucheng Hall. In addition to serving as the governor's office, Li Jie also served as the state magistrate of Guo, with outstanding achievements. Li Jie is widely read, and has written many books, such as Continued Classic of Mountains and Seas, Pipa, Table of Continued Surnames, Ma Jing, Liu Bo, Ancient Legends and so on. His paintings and calligraphy are highly praised by Song Huizong, an expert in calligraphy and painting. Li Jie is a buried scientist, and the history of Song Dynasty has not been biographied for him, nor has it been recorded in Zhengzhou and Zhengxian in Ming and Qing Dynasties. The evaluation of his father in the History of Song Dynasty is "following the rules repeatedly, not doing special exercises, and knowing him is not right". For his brother, "people thought it was mean" at that time.
