I have studied calligraphy for six months. I don't feel much progress. I practice 15 minutes every day. Is there any way to make my handwriting great?

Dacheng?

If you have a high goal, you must have a high starting point. It is very important to choose stickers, such as Ou, Yan, Liu and Zhao, but we should choose the highest quality among similar inscriptions. How to choose a post depends on tian teacher's lecture. Conquering calligraphy one by one is a shortcut emphasized by tian teacher, and I know it well. Like you, I have been studying calligraphy for more than 8 months. I saw tian teacher's video lecture by chance. From that day on, I was fascinated by calligraphy. Every night, after the baby sleeps, he writes for two hours. I followed tian teacher's instructions. Write one word at a time, and practice the next word when you are satisfied with it.

In the video, someone asked the teacher, "When do you practice a word?" Tian teacher replied: "Ghost". A word is practiced until it is finished, and only after fooling around with the original post can it be considered as finished. Although no one can do it, only by asking yourself in this way can we hope to practice the basic skills of regular script. I firmly believe that this is correct, and I did the same! Because I'm rather stupid and my understanding is average, I only practiced eight words in eight months, almost without interruption. Hehe, I practiced the first word for three months instead of one word a month. The word is simple, "Zhi". The improvement of calligraphy level must also follow a law from quantitative change to qualitative change, and then from the accumulation of quantitative change to the next qualitative change. The reason why the progress of practicing calligraphy is slow is because I feel very satisfied after writing these words tonight. I thought I could learn new things tomorrow, but tomorrow I read the words written tonight and found that there were too many shortcomings, so I began to ponder over the copybook and practice again.

I don't want to say how hard I practice calligraphy! I just want to make it clear that when I found yesterday's shortcomings, my calligraphy level really improved, even if it was only a little, I was constantly improving. Hehe, the reason why I nag so much is to explain my feelings: with the right method, unremitting efforts will make progress, which is subtle and gradual.

I am also a beginner. I'm just talking about some feelings, and I'm trying to attract jade. However, you said it was too early to change careers for half a year. I wrote 90% Palace. Originally, the goal I set for myself was to concentrate on writing nine successful years before writing other posts. Now I feel that time is still tight, and it is a bit early to change careers in six months.

In addition, paying more attention to the practice outside calligraphy words, learning more famous calligraphy works in the history of calligraphy, reading more inscriptions of different styles, and knowing more about the comments of ancient calligraphers on different calligraphy works are of great help to improve the level of calligraphy.

The above is just a little personal experience. Please forgive what I said. I am also studying with you. I hope you can stick to it and hear the good news of your calligraphy success. Wish progress!
