Culture is the foundation and soul of art.

The book "Fan Ceng Begins-Teaching You to Appreciate Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting" written by Mr. Fan Ceng is purely accidental. I usually work in a company. At lunch time, I usually come for a cup of tea, read casual books and wait for takeout. This book belongs to my husband. I chose this one because I was tired of reading all kinds of professional books in the bookcase during lunch break.

Fan Ceng (1938.7.5-), a native of Nantong, Jiangsu. He is a great scholar, thinker, master of Chinese studies, master of painting and calligraphy, writer and poet in China. He advocated "returning to classicism and nature" and practiced the aesthetic principle of "taking poetry as the soul and books as the bone", which made great contributions to the development of Chinese painting and initiated the "neoclassicism" art.

The book expounds the important influence of China culture on poetry and calligraphy through three chapters: six lectures on Chinese painting, five lectures on calligraphy and seven lectures on poetry. This book does not teach painting, calligraphy and poetry techniques, but teaches China culture and how to appreciate China's painting, calligraphy and poetry. Therefore, this is a book to enhance the cognition and artistic accomplishment of Chinese studies. Although I know nothing about art and have no connection with "poetry, calligraphy and painting" at present, art emphasizes "beauty" and people's pursuit of beauty is always the same.

This book is very interesting. Personally, I like watching it. According to my own ideas, it is summarized as follows:

First, the influence of cultural differences between East and West on artistic aesthetics.

1, a western culture from ancient Greece, emphasizes logic, deduction and the dichotomy between man and nature; Oriental culture from ancient India and China pays attention to experience, perception and induction, and finally achieves the unity of man and nature.

(Note: The unity of man and nature was originally a philosophical theory in ancient China, which believed that man and nature were interlinked and interacted. Reflected in aesthetic thought, it shows the aesthetic relationship between man and nature from the relationship between man and nature. It is believed that human aesthetic activity is a spiritual exchange and dialogue between man and nature. )

2. The reason why China's poems, paintings and calligraphy maintain eternal charm is that it embodies the soul of China nurtured by China's philosophy, thought, culture and history for thousands of years. China's paintings, for example, don't need strict logical analysis like western culture, but need perception. On the one hand, we should conform to the way of nature and experience the great beauty of heaven and earth. On the other hand, the great beauty of heaven and earth can only be transformed into human beauty through perception.

(Xue Xin: the "Lu Wang School". Lu Jiuyuan in the Southern Song Dynasty and Wang Yangming in the Ming Dynasty both regarded "heart" as the origin of all things in the universe. Lu Jiuyuan put forward that "the universe is my heart and my heart is the universe"; Wang Yangming put forward that "there is nothing outside the heart, nothing outside the heart, and unreasonable outside the heart".

3. China's Chinese characters are unique characters in the world, with vivid, sound and meaningful contents, which are mainly reflected in the six books on the structure of Chinese characters.

Xu Shen has incisive explanations on the six books about the structure of Chinese characters in Shuo Wen Jie Zi Xu, that is, pictographic characters, ideographic characters, knowing characters, pictophonetic characters, phonetic symbols and loanwords.

1. The profound China culture is the foundation of poetry, painting and calligraphy. In addition to basic skills, inner feelings and self-cultivation also have a great influence on the quality of works.

2. From Zheng Banqiao's bamboo paintings, we can understand the three stages of understanding and embodiment in painting, namely, seeing bamboo, experiencing bamboo and writing bamboo. Calligraphy also has a basic learning process, reading and posting. There is even a saying in poetry that "poetry can be recited even if it can't be written".

A great artist needs three qualities: spirit, wisdom and wisdom. "Wisdom", like "knowledge", can be acquired through learning; "Wisdom" is the ability of perception, which varies from person to person; "Spirit" is inspiration, which is unexpected.

In the book, the author lists and shows many excellent works, including painting, calligraphy and poetry. It also helped me to improve my understanding of art and learn superficial knowledge, such as China's masterpieces, paintings, poems and their artistic styles.

Throughout the ages, heroes can't find Sun Zhongmou. Dancing in the pavilion, singing on the platform, wind and rain always blow away romantic feelings. The setting sun shines on the grassland covered with grass and trees. People say that this was once the place where Emperor Wu of Song lived. Looking back, how powerful he was when he led the Northern Expedition and recovered lost ground!

However, Li Liu Yi Long, the son of Liu Wang Yilong, was a great success and made a swift northern expedition. Instead, he made the Northern Wei Emperor Wu Tuoba fly south and returned to the north bank of the Yangtze River, which was severely hit by his opponent. I have been back to the south for forty-three years, and I still remember the war scenes in Yangzhou. Looking back, there was a crow club drum under the beaver temple. Who can ask: Lian Po is too old to eat?
