Ma Ming’s artistic introduction

Ma Ming, whose courtesy name is Yanmo and whose nickname is Tufeng, is also the master of Yeshizhai. Born in Beijing in 1957. Han nationality, graduated from the Art Calligraphy Department of Beijing Normal University with a bachelor's degree.

Currently, he is the art committee member of the Chinese Peasants and Workers Party, the executive vice president of the Oriental Calligraphy and Painting Art Research Institute, the executive director of the Chinese Hard Pen Calligraphy Art Review Committee, a member of the Beijing Calligraphers Association, a professor of the Oriental Calligraphy Correspondence College, and a professor of Chinese calligraphy and painting. I have been passionate about calligraphy since childhood and have been pursuing it diligently. My works have won many awards in major competitions at home and abroad. Some of my works have been collected by friends and museums in the United States, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.

In 2002, as a representative of the Chinese education sector, he was invited by South Korea to participate in the celebration of the tenth anniversary of Sino-Korean culture. In 2004, his works and resume were published by China Culture News, and many of his works were included in the Dictionary of Famous Chinese Calligraphers, Collection of Works by Famous Contemporary Calligraphers, and Fulu Daguan by Famous Ancient and Modern Masters. In 2005, he participated in the Beijing International Calligraphy Bi-joint Exhibition.

He was awarded the title of calligrapher with "both virtue and skill" in events such as the auction of Chinese calligraphers in the 20th century and the exhibition of authentic works of contemporary world-famous calligraphers.
