Shandong Calligraphers Association was founded in 1980, and later renamed as "Shandong Calligraphy and Seal Cutting Research Association", and 1982 was renamed as "Shandong Branch of China Calligraphers Association". It belongs to Shandong Federation of Literary and Art Circles and is located at No.58 Maanshan Road, Jinan. Its former chairmen were Lu Ping, Jiang Weisong and Zhang Yefa, and its current chairman is Gu Yalong.
