1. Qufu Confucius Temple is located in Qufu City, Shandong Province.
Qufu Confucius Temple is a temple dedicated to Confucius, a famous thinker and educator in ancient China. From the Han Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, famous artists from all dynasties gathered here, including stone carvings by Ouyang Xun, Yu Shinan, Chu Suiliang, Li Yangbing, Yan Zhenqing, Liu Gongquan, Zhang Xu, Huaisu, Zhiyong, Li Longji, Shi Weize and others in the Tang Dynasty.
There are also ink writings by famous artists such as Mi Fu, Cai Jing, Zhao Ji, Su Shi, Zhao Mengfu, Dong Qichang, and Lin Zexu from the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. There are more than 11,700 steles in the Forest of Steles in Xi'an. It is the earliest collection of ancient Chinese steles and the largest collection of famous steles in the Han culture and art treasure house.
3. Luoyang Longmen Grottoes are located in Luoyang City, Henan Province. The Longmen Grottoes are one of the treasures of Chinese stone carving art. Together with the Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang, Gansu, the Maijishan Grottoes in Tianshui, Gansu, and the Yungang Grottoes in Shanxi, they are also known as the four major grottoes in China.
The Longmen Grottoes not only have rich Buddhist statues and sculptures, but are also the capital of Chinese calligraphy and stele. The Buddha statues in the Longmen Grottoes are all engraved with "Image Inscriptions". There are more than 3,600 inscriptions on the statues. The calligraphy is exquisite, especially the calligraphy of the Northern Wei Dynasty, which is powerful and varied. It is the best place for calligraphy lovers to visit.
The most famous "Twenty Products of Longmen" is enough to establish Longmen Grottoes' important position on the Chinese calligraphy map.
