If you were asked to recommend an anime, what would you recommend?

I am from a generation that grew up watching "Smart Ikkyu" on a 14-inch black and white TV, so naturally I recommend this cartoon first.

At that time, when I was in elementary school, my hometown didn’t have to worry about us not coming home from playing on the road. We would run home as soon as school was over, otherwise we wouldn’t be able to catch the six o’clock cartoon. There was a replay of the cartoon at noon the next day, and we were hungry, so we went home quickly.

The cartoon "Smart Ikkyu" is particularly simple and fresh in its black and white images, especially Ikkyu's big eyes and bald head, which is both smart and cute. I really admire him. This cartoon looks both relaxed and happy, and also enlightening.

As I grew up, I still felt friendly. Now for my two sons, this cartoon is the first one I recommend.

I learned that Ikkyu is still an eminent monk.

Look up the biography of Ikkyu in Sogou Encyclopedia: "Ikkyu Sojun was a famous monk of the Rinzai sect of Zen Buddhism in the Muromachi period of Japan. He was also a famous poet, calligrapher and painter. 'Ikkyu' is him His name, "Zongchun" is a taboo, and he is usually called Yixiu. His nickname was Qianjuwan, and later he was also known as Zhou Jian. He died of illness at the age of 88 on November 21, the 13th year of civilization."

At this point, I have deep admiration for Yixiu.

I am very lucky and grateful to have this cartoon accompanying me in my childhood. Ikkyu’s kindness, optimism, peace, and wit have a profound impact on my life and work.
