Words pass from pot to pot, and words are expensive. Who is engraving?

"Words pass from pot to pot, and pots become more expensive with words" has been circulated since Chen Hongshou wrote "Inscription of Zisha Pot". Later, a division of labor specialized in lettering appeared among purple sand artists.

Chen Hongshou, a native of Qiantang (now Hangzhou, Zhejiang), is a painter and seal engraver. His works include poems, books and paintings, and he is good at making Yixing teapot, which is called "Man Sheng Pot". Calligraphy is good at running script, cursive script, seal script and official script. The running script is vigorous and elegant, and the book is open and clear. Seal cutting follows the seal of Qin and Han Dynasties, involving Ding Jing, Huang Yi and others. The seal brush is square, bold, natural and casual, and the leading edge is exposed. Gu Zhuo is unrestrained and boundless. It is one of the "Eight Schools of Xiling".
