Part I: There is no esoteric and subtle method.
Part II: Millions of Disasters
Horizontal approval: Buddha shines brightly
The brushwork is vigorous, and you should be in Weibei when you are young. Calligraphy is heavy, rigorous and elegant, with obvious meaning of seclusion between the lines. I think the author should be a layman.
Speaking of the source of this connection. This is the opening poem written by Wu Zetian in Hua Yan Jing when she was emperor. Wu Zetian thinks Buddhism is profound and subtle, and it smells bad. She is willing to understand its true meaning by practicing the precepts. The following is the original inscription of Wu Zetian: No deep dive method, a million disasters. What I saw and heard today has been supported, and I really want to understand the true meaning of Tathagata.
When we treat Buddhism, we can learn a lot from it, even if we study and discuss it as a science.
On the occasion of aftertaste, I recalled another thought: Bodhi has no trees, the mirror is not a stage, and there is nothing. Where can it cause dust?
In the Northern and Southern Dynasties, Shen Xiu, the great disciple, wrote a poem to inherit the mantle of Hong Ren, the fifth ancestor: "Being a bodhi tree, the heart is a mirror platform. Always wipe it clean, don't get dust. " It means to practice your mind at all times, resist the temptation from the outside world through practice, and keep a clear head and a clear head. In the kitchen of the temple, a monk named Huineng lit a fire. He was next to the beautiful girl's son and asked others to change to the son of a famous girl. It means that everything in the world is empty, and the heart is empty. It doesn't matter if you resist the temptation outside. Everything passes by my heart, leaving no trace. Of course, this is a very high realm of Zen. Later, Wuzu passed the mantle on to Huineng. (In fact, the level of beauty is also remarkable. )
Life flies like a rainbow, leaving no trace. Everything is empty, so we should let nature take its course. Huineng, the sixth ancestor, is indeed better than the realm of "being a bodhi tree" in Zen ethereal spirit. Everything is nothing, everything is empty. After the Five Ancestors, Zen Buddhism was divided into Southern Zen and Northern Zen.
Why can Hua Yan Jing be inscribed by Wu Zetian?
The full name of Huayan Jing is Dafang Guangfo Huayan Jing, also known as Za Hua Jing. It first spread in southern India, and then spread to northwest and central India. Translated by Siksananda in the Tang Dynasty, its spread was extremely prosperous. In the Tang Dynasty, Hua Yanzong, who specializes in the teaching concept of Hua Yanjing, appeared. In the middle of the 7th century, Yi Xiang, a monk from Silla, came to the Tang Dynasty to learn from his teacher, and after returning to China, he became the ancestor of Huayan Sect in Korea. In the middle of the 8th century, this sutra had been circulated in Japan, and the Huayan Sutra was later spread by Tang Daorui, the ancestor of Huayan Sect in Japan. This Buddhist scripture occupies a very important position in the Han Buddhism, and it has been known as the "king of the classics" for many years.
It is special in that:
First, it is the first classic preached by Sakyamuni after he became a Buddha.
Secondly, it is rich in meaning, strict in logic and accurate. In the words of Buddhism, it is the classic of "righteousness and harmony" There is a wonderful metaphor in Hua Yan Jing, which aptly expresses the concept of "harmony", that is, "Indra's Web". It is based on Indian mythology, saying that the Indra Palace is decorated with online beads. Beads and beads are mixed, and the shadows set each other off, overlapping endlessly, reflecting endless legal circles and showing a harmonious and beautiful landscape.
Third, it directly led to the rise of a sect. In the Tang Dynasty, the spread and research of Hua Yan Jing was unprecedentedly prosperous. Starting from monk Du Shun, "Hua Yanzong" began to advocate; The sage master, that is, the master of Fazang, carried it forward and merged it into the masterpiece of Hua Yanzong. Since then, "Hua Yanzong" has become one of the eight schools of the Han Dynasty, and it has continued to this day.
Fourthly, from the literary point of view, Huayan Jing is rich in system, profound in meaning, magnificent in momentum, full of wonderful metaphors, full of machine language, and there are ethereal sentences in some chapters, which make people read it like chewing olives and have endless aftertaste.
Fifthly, from a philosophical point of view, Huayan Sect, which was formed on the basis of Huayan Classic, built a philosophical system of four dharma circles, ten mysteries and six phases, which became the greatest feature of Huayan Sect.
Meeting a pair of couplets, let me study classics and taste life. It's a great pleasure in life!
