Mr. You Zhonghui's calligraphy reflects the elegance of the "two kings", the richness of Yan Zhenqing, the majesty of Sun Guoting, and the free and easy style of Mi Fu, forming his own unique calligraphy style. He has participated in the third, fourth and fifth National Exhibition, the First China-Korea Calligraphy Exhibition, the China-Japan Trendy Masterpieces Exhibition, the China-Singapore Calligraphy Exchange Exhibition, the Taiwan Hundreds of Calligraphers and Painters Invitational Exhibition and other large-scale international and domestic book exhibitions and won awards. In February 2005, he won the "Outstanding Contribution Award to Chinese Studies and the Gold Medal for Calligraphy" and was also awarded the title of "One of the Top 100 Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Masters". In July 2006, he was awarded the title of "Pearl Artist of the Ten Years of Chinese Studies" and won the "Exquisite Calligraphy and Painting Award of the Personal Art Achievement Award of the Ten Years of Chinese Studies".
