Tianzhu, called Huarui in Tibetan, means Hero Tribe. It is located in the middle of Gansu Province, the south of Wuwei City and the eastern end of Qilian Mountain. Known as the "gateway" of Hexi Corridor. 1936, Tianzhu Township was named after the initials "Tianzhu" of Tang Tian Temple and Zhu Gong Temple in China. 1950 Tianzhu Autonomous Region (county level) was established, and 1955 was changed to Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County. It is the first ethnic autonomous county named by Premier Zhou Enlai, the only producing area of white yak in the world, the capital of quinoa in China Plateau, the hometown of edible fungi in China Plateau and the hometown of Natsuna in China Plateau. The county has jurisdiction over 14 towns, 5 townships, 178 administrative villages and 20 neighborhood committees. It has been incorporated into the territory of the Han Dynasty since Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. After the Tang Dynasty, a multi-ethnic community with Tubo (now Tibetan) as the main ethnic group gradually formed. From the Ming Dynasty to the early Qing Dynasty, the household system was implemented. In the Qing Dynasty, Zhuanglang Tea Horse Hall was established to manage 36 ethnic groups in China, 14 monasteries. Tang Tian Temple has the largest woodcarving statue of Zong Kaba in Asia, Dalong Temple is the "Hongji" given by Kangxi, Shimen Temple is the temple of Cangyang Jiacuo in the western country, and Dongda Temple has the only large-scale The Journey to the West mural found in China so far. It is an important water conservation area and water supply area for six inland rivers (Jinta River, Zamu River, Huangyang River, Gulang River, Dajing River and Xiying River) in Shiyang River Basin and two outflow rivers (Datong River and Jinqiang River) in Yellow River Basin.
