Cao Xinzhi's Character Life

Cao Xinzhi, pen name Hang He, was born in Yixing, Jiangsu. When I was in middle school, I published poems in newspapers and magazines. 1936, co-founded Pinghua Anti-Japanese Literature and Art Weekly with Wu Bowen and Kong Jie. After the July 7th Incident, he went to Shanxi's anti-Japanese front. 1938 went to Yan 'an, and studied in Shanbei Public School and Luxun Art College successively. 1939 He joined the Anti-Japanese War and the founding of the People's Republic of China teaching group led by Li Gongpu to work in the Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei border region, and began to try to create new poems. 1940 transferred to Chongqing Life Bookstore and worked in the editorial department of National Anti-Japanese War Weekly. After the Southern Anhui Incident and the outbreak of the Pacific War, he retreated to Hong Kong and returned to Chongqing. 1945, the first book of poetry, Stars, came out.

After War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression's victory, he went to Shanghai and founded Xingqun Publishing House with Cang Kejia and others. At the same time, he co-sponsored Poetry Creation and China New Poetry monthly. As the backbone of the Nine Leaves Poetry School, his new poetry works are concise, meticulous and profound, and unique. 1948 The Land of Resurrection is a long poem written in June of 10, with a grand and rigorous structure and fluent language. Selected Poems of Pushkin (Love Songs and Prisoners in Caucasus) edited by 1942 was published in Guilin and Chongqing. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, he presided over the editing and publishing business of Xingqun Publishing House, which was co-organized with Cang Kejia and others, and also co-organized publications such as Poetry Creation and China New Poetry. After the founding of New China, he mainly engaged in book binding design and often wrote related articles. In previous book binding art exhibitions jointly organized by China Edition Association and China Artists Association, all his works were exhibited and won awards, such as Complete Works of Guo Moruo and New Wave Printmaking, which won the overall design award or the cover design award.

At the 1959 Leipzig International Book and Art Exhibition, the collection of Indonesian President, Bachelor of Engineering and Dr. China's paintings designed by him won the gold medal in binding design. His binding art pays attention to carrying forward the traditional culture of the Chinese nation and absorbing modern western artistic skills. He not only tried to criticize inheritance, but also devoted himself to innovation and development. He also edited the biography of Tao Fen, published in 1982. He is a member of Chinese Writers Association, China Artists Association and China Calligraphers Association, and vice chairman of the Central Publishing Committee of China Association for Promoting Democracy.

As a poet, he published Selected Poems of Pushkin, Love Songs and Prisoners of Caucasus in his early years. 1944, under the pseudonym of Kong Xiu, he published the first "On Cang Kejia" which made a comprehensive and systematic comment on Cang Kejia's poetry creation. From 65438 to 0945, the first book of poetry was published in Chongqing. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, he went to Shanghai to preside over the editing and publishing business of Xingqun Publishing House and published more than 30 works by famous poets and writers. 1947, founded Poetry Creation with Cang Kejia and Lin Hong. 1948, together with Xin Di, Chen and Tang Qi, founded China New Poetry, which had genre characteristics and great influence, but was soon banned by the Kuomintang authorities. Cao Xinzhi's poems, with strong and deep feelings, show people's suffering and yearning. In the name of Hangyue, he published poetry anthology Nightmare Record, Burning City and political lyric poem Land of Resurrection. His poems have been selected by many new poetry collections, large series and dictionaries at home and abroad, including Hong Kong and Taiwan, and have been widely praised and affirmed.
