Who knows the details of twenty rubbings in Longmen Grottoes?

Today, there are more than 2,800 inscriptions on the Longmen Grottoes. This is a major feature of many caves in China. Because of the large number of inscriptions, Longmen Grottoes are also called "ancient forest of steles". More than half of the inscriptions in the Northern Wei Dynasty are concentrated in Guyang Cave. Twenty Pieces of Longmen, selected from the statues of the Northern Wei Dynasty, is the representative of Wei Bei's calligraphy. Weibei inherited and flourished in Tang Dynasty, which has both the charm of Li Dynasty and the charm of opening the dynasty. It is a calligraphy style especially advocated by the calligraphy circle today.

Of the 20 gantry products, 19 are in Guyang Cave, and only one is in Cave 660 (Cixiang Kiln) outside Laolong Cave. Most of the masters of merit in these statues are princes and nobles, senior officials and Taoist monks in the Northern Wei Dynasty. They sang praises for Emperor Xiaowen or opened shrines and statues, prayed for the rich and helped the poor. Most of their names are recorded in history books. These statues are often related to the historical facts of that year. Therefore, Twenty Chapters of Longmen is not only the essence of northern Wei calligraphy art, but also a representative work of northern Wei calligraphy, and it is also a historical material with research value.

Now the rubbings are not for sale.
