20 18 at the beginning of the new year, factory director Jiang, who had been busy all day, put a lot of things aside for the time being and squeezed out a day to come to Nanjing. On that day, the snow in Jinling was still piled thick on the road. Kun Yuan crossed the cold to fulfill a promise to me: to visit my little grandson who was born soon. In fact, he has greeted me on the phone several times. I said that your mind has arrived. There are many things in the factory at present, so there is no need to come in person. But the man who kept his word and kept his word ignored my advice and still braved the cold wind to get on the bus. He also invited his good buddy, Mr. Tan Lianggen, a calligrapher who is far away from Shajiabang, to come to Ning (Brother Lianggen is the same age as me, and he specially prepared a new painting for me before he left, so I just want to thank him).
I have known Kun Yuan for 20 years. I still remember the first time I met him-that time I was on a business trip in Gusu and stayed in Nanyuan Hotel. I met this simple and honest rural youth in southern Jiangsu through the introduction of the famous writer and secretary general of Suzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Xue Ge, who was not good at words, but really cute. He is tall and straight, his skin is dark and red in the sun, and he is a little shy and embarrassed to speak.
At that time, he had written many poems and essays. He was an enthusiastic teacher Xue and teacher Lu (that is, the vice chairman of Suzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles, an essayist who wrote many excellent works. It's a pity that she has left us for several years), and has published collections of essays such as Water Town in Dreams and Poetic Heart. Kun Yuan's creative enthusiasm at that time was very high. After meeting him this time, I tweeted his prose full of rural life several times in the monthly magazine Oriental Star, where I was the editor. I also edited and published a collection of essays entitled "Qingqing Neem Fruit" for him in Jiangsu Literature and Art Publishing House where I work.
I remember that one issue of Oriental Star magazine published a large photo of him on the back cover (like it was taken in a photo studio, which was quite a star charm), and I wrote a recommendation. At that time, Oriental Star magazine sold well in major cities all over the country. On the day when this issue of magazine with photos of Jiang Kunyuan was listed in Nanjing, Kun Yuan came to Nanjing by shuttle bus from Suzhou with great excitement and bought a batch of magazines (which he told me later). In fact, you can buy it at the newsstand in Suzhou one or two days later, but Kun Yuan obviously can't wait).
These are some youthful memories that make people look back on the past and have a heart. Today, 20 years later, I seem to have more evidence that his love for literature and writing has become his unchangeable choice in this life. He is dedicated, infatuated, persistent, diligent in thinking and writing, which has become a kind of consciousness in his heart and a living embodiment of his life. He is not utilitarian in writing, and he really never gets anything from it. He knows very well that writing is not a good meal, and food (including all tangible materials) needs to be cultivated separately. You can't write poetry on an empty stomach. Therefore, in those years, he carried an almost inseparable artificial leather bag and ran in the wind and rain for supply and marketing; Later, he took all kinds of risks and jumped out to set up a factory, carrying heavier wind, frost, rain and snow on his shoulders, covering the factory building brick by brick and selling products box by box-based on this society, he tried his best to materialize his personal career. But at the same time, another "stomach" of his spirit has been constantly sucking the unique nourishment of literature. The so-called "moisten things quietly", the change of spirit often gathers quietly in a subtle way and then produces fission.
Compared with many of his peers, Kun Yuan is richer and more proud that he has really achieved "grasping with both hands and being hard with both hands".
In the past 20 years, he has not only achieved good economic benefits year by year, but also "mastered" a spiritual product that marks his continuous innovation in ideological understanding and continuous improvement in aesthetic level: 3 1 individual literary works of various genres.
In September 2002, Kun Yuan named his new factory "Zhengxiang" (and specially asked Mr. Waweng, a famous calligrapher in Suzhou, to write the name of the factory), which means flying. He has always advocated progressive aspirations and feelings. For all the new things and trends that represent the trend of the times, he does not shy away or give up, and insists on being a trend leader.
I remember that in the summer of 20 16, Kun Yuan invited me to stay at Yangcheng Lake. At that time, I saw that he was keen to publish new works in QQ space every day and interact with netizens. By the second half of 20 17, he was already a master of wechat. Not only did he become a writer of great concern on the popular "WeChat official account" (it is known that more than 400,000 words of articles were published in just a few months), but he also bid for two ones presided over by him. I get up before dawn every day, writing, choosing pictures, typesetting and posting. I am very busy. He sensed the windows of different colors that life opened to him every day, and he recorded all this with his sensitivity and enthusiasm, which was released by reporters as soon as possible in the form of pictures and texts. He set an example by becoming the editor-in-chief of the official WeChat account "Zhengxiangyu", accepting and selecting contributions from scholars and poets from all over the world. He enjoyed what I did in those years. He sent happiness and beauty to friends he had never met. He also took out his own money and gave a red envelope to the author who first published an article on this platform. In this way, he wants to inspire his friends who love writing as much as he does. He hopes that this spiritual work of discovering the inner meaning of life will become a cheerful relay, and new people will continue to join.
Although what he has done has not brought him any economic benefits, he feels that it seems more important and interesting for people to live and do something meaningful that they like than to get something material.
It should be said that Kun Yuan has lived to an enviable and admirable state.
