The Suide County Museum of Shaanxi Province is located at No. 13, Jinshi Lane, Mingzhou Town, Suide County. Established in 1980, it is affiliated to the Culture and Sports Bureau of Suide County People's Government. The museum is located in Shushi Mountain, east of Suide County and on the west bank of Wuding River. The museum site is adjacent to the tomb of Qin Fusu on the top of the mountain. The tomb was listed as a provincial key cultural relic protection unit on August 6, 1956. The Fusu Tomb on the top of a sparse mountain is not only a landmark of Suide's ancient and modern culture, but also an important cultural relic tourist attraction in the county. Since its establishment, Suide County Museum built a 3.4-meter-high and 545.2-meter-long wall in the Fusu Tomb area in 1982, forming the current Fusu Tomb Cultural Relics Protection Area. The reserve covers an area of ??6,800 square meters. The area consists of the administrative office area of ??the museum, Fusu Tomb, Octagonal Pavilion, Fusu Temple, Han Dynasty Stone Sculpture Exhibition Hall, Five Dragon Wall and other important cultural relics and buildings. Fusu's tomb is a circular mound of earth, 20 meters high, with an octagonal pavilion on the top of the tomb. In 1995, the Fusu Temple, a cultural relic attached to the Fusu Tomb, was renovated and the ancient architectural style of the Fusu Temple main hall was restored. In August 2000, the Shenyan Railway Construction Headquarters donated 230,000 yuan to renovate the octagonal pavilion with brick and wood structure built in 1930 into an octagonal pavilion with tile and stone structure. At the same time, a retaining wall 6.7 meters high and 37 meters long was built with stones on the southeast side of the tomb, making the tomb more solid, upright and spectacular.
