Lou Hongtai, born in 1977, is from Yanjin, Henan. He was specially recruited into the army in 1995 and joined the Communist Party of China in 1997. Graduated from the Chinese People's Liberation Army Sports Institute in 2003. He studied in the Shanghai Branch of the Nanjing Political College of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and the Second Calligraphy Creation Training Course of the Army. In 2008, "Lou Hongtai Chinese Painting Art Studio" was established in Zhengzhou. Currently, he is an art researcher at the Chinese Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute of the Ministry of Culture, a member of the art committee of the Jinan Military Region Fine Arts and Calligraphy Research Institute, vice president and secretary-general of the People's Liberation Army Tiejun Painting and Calligraphy Academy, a distinguished painter of the Henan Provincial Painting and Calligraphy Academy, president of the Amber Painting Association, and Baidu Encyclopedia Academic Committee member.
