Among the 8428 cultural relics in Putian Museum, the collection types are ceramics, bronze, jade, bamboo and wood carvings, stone tools, calligraphy and painting, etc. , and there are more than three precious cultural relics 1378, the quantity and quality are remarkable, especially more than 200 Mazu represented by the first-class astronomical map of Ming Dynasty and the magnificent map of Qing Dynasty. During the period of 1994, the Provincial Department of Culture organized Mazu cultural relics to be exhibited in Taiwan. In 2004, the Mazu cultural relics exhibition organized by our city was exhibited in Taiwan Province, mainly organized by Mazu cultural relics collection units, which is valuable information for our city to build a world Mazu cultural center. Particularly precious are the famous calligraphy and paintings in 1930s, including more than 2,400 pieces of ink collected by revolutionary painter He Xiangning, Beiyang warlord Wu, Xu Shichang, puppet Manchukuo Executive Dean Zheng, Qing Dynasty veteran Chen and other political figures, representatives of Shanghai-style landscape painting Wu Daiqiu, Beijing-style Hu Heng, Wang, Lingnan-style famous painters Xu Beihong, Pan Tianshou, Huang and Zhang Shanyu.
