After his death, Hu Kui -xi and his wife, Mrs. Cheng Tai, were not formally buried, but parked in Tsoji, near the present cemetery. Hu Shi's father, Hu Chuan, was an official of the Qing government in Taiwan. In the Sino-Japanese War 1895, he was ordered to cross the mainland and died of an epidemic in Xiamen. His coffin was transported from Xiamen to his hometown Shangzhuang by Hu Shaozhi, Hu Shi's second brother, and was not formally buried. It is also stored in a base near the present cemetery. 19 18, Hu Shi's mother Feng Shundi died of illness, and Hu Shi returned to China to attend the funeral. He officially chose today's graveyard for burial, and moved the coffins of his grandparents and father here. Hu, who claimed to be a dutiful son, was even more generous when building ancestral graves and spent a lot of money. The whole mausoleum is built of granite. The tombstone was inscribed by Zheng, the prime minister of Manchukuo and a great calligrapher. There are stone tables and benches in the tomb pool, and there is a thatched cottage on the south side of the tomb pool, which is dedicated to offering sacrifices to the tomb owner. The scale of this tomb was not built by ordinary people in villages and towns in the early years of the Republic of China, which shows Hu Shi. Today, most of the old people over the age of 50 and 60 in Shangzhuang Town still have memories of the original appearance of Hu Shizu's tomb. 1988, the township government came forward to raise funds with Hu Shi's relatives to repair the graves of Hu Shizu and his father. The shape and scale of the newly built ancestral graves are generally similar to the previous specifications, but the materials used are different. The newly built cemetery is made of brick and cement, and the original tombstone also has the words Zheng written on it. At the top of the tomb, there is a straight monument to "hoe Yue Fang Shan", and a pair of couplets are engraved on the left and right handrails of the tomb. The content is: people's hearts are winding and the world is overlapping. The font was written by Hu Yun of Shangzhuang nationality. This tomb style is very philosophical and literati.
