In the second courtyard of the Zhang family's handsome mansion on the south side of the Forbidden City in Shenhe District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, it was originally Zhang Zuolin's office. and a place to receive guests. There are seven main rooms and five east and west wing rooms. The third door to the main room is Zhang Zuolin's bedroom and office. The third west room is the reception room and study room. Now the interior has been restored to its original furnishings, and a wax figure of the handsome man at work has also been made. The study room is filled with all kinds of books, but they are just full of books. Marshal Zhang Zuolin started out as a bandit and has a low level of education. It is estimated that he cannot read most of the books here. Although he was uneducated, Zhang Zuolin attached great importance to culture and education. When he was in power in the Northeast, despite the warlords' melee, he still invested a lot of resources in education, making Manchuria at that time the most developed in science and technology in China and with the highest scientific literacy among the people. The region laid a good foundation for the later development of Northeast China into China's industrial base. At that time, the salary of Northeastern University professors was six times that of Peking University, about 3,000 yuan, even more than President Duan Qirui. This couplet hangs in the study. The calligraphy is very ugly. It is an imitation of the original work by Marshal Zhang Zuolin. Although the couplet is a big boast, it fully demonstrates Zhang Zuolin's frankness and frankness, his openness and openness to others. The middle of the east wing is the hall, the south room is the secretary-general's room, and the north room is the inner receiving and receiving room. The west wing is the general secretary's room. The east and west wings now display an exhibition on the life of General Zhang Xuesi. Zhang Xuesi is the fourth son of Zhang Zuolin and the only member of the Communist Party of China in the Zhang family. He went to Yan'an to join the revolution in the 1930s and later became the founder of the Dalian Naval Warship Academy. In 1955, he was awarded the rank of Lieutenant General of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and served as Chief of Naval Staff. He was persecuted to death during the Cultural Revolution. Zhang Xuesi and Zhang Xueliang had a very good relationship. Zhang Xueliang always told others during his lifetime: "The fourth brother (Zhang Xuesi) is the most thoughtful, determined and courageous person in the family." The middle room is the entrance hall, with a carved gate tower in front. A horizontal plaque hangs directly above the gate tower, with the four characters "Wang Zhongzhong the Great Wall" written on it. This was given to Zhang Zuolin by the squires at that time, praising Zhang Zuolin's prestige as heavy as the Great Wall.
