This poem comes from "The Seven Wonders of the Spring Equinox·Awakening" by the ancient poet Xu Xuan.

Poetry Appreciation: This poem describes the scene of the spring rain and the recovery of all things during the vernal equinox. During the Qingming Festival after the Spring Equinox, relatives who are away from home will also be called back one after another. This season is a bit late in the north, and the climate is warming up more slowly than in the south. Little do you know that at this time in the south, it is already the season when the grass grows, all things bloom, and flowers bloom. The poet Xu Xuan was good at Li Si Xiaozhuan and official script. He and his brother Xu Kai were called "Two Xus" and they were outstanding calligraphers at that time.

Vernacular translation: The spring breeze first blew open the early plum blossoms in the gardens of the capital, and then the cherry, apricots, peaches and plums also bloomed, making people feel full of vitality. The arrival of spring also brings laughter to the countryside. The spring breeze blows, and the shepherds and elms blooming in the fields cheer for joy, exclaiming happily: "The spring breeze is coming for me!"
