When you meet calligraphy, you meet your best self.
At first, we may not believe it. When you meet calligraphy, how can you meet your best self? With the deepening of my study, I gradually understand that calligraphy is so close to my future self. After copying, we will find our own preferences. Because of these preferences, we know that we are beautiful, energetic, free and easy, and rigorous. Copying learning, on the one hand, is to learn the writing techniques of the ancients, on the other hand, it is also constantly pondering and reflecting in its own heart. Which style is the real self?
When we are creating, we are sometimes reckless, sometimes cautious, sometimes grandiose and frivolous, and sometimes rigid and dull. When we begin to hate our handwriting, we are constantly learning about ourselves! We met our best self when we began to learn the golden mean, learn to be calm, learn to be steady and confident, and learn to be flexible.
If it is not easy to meet the best self, then in the study of calligraphy, those happy troubles will be polished on our rough body again and again like sandpaper until our writing becomes radiant.
Explore calligraphy and explore the truth, goodness and beauty in the depths of the soul.
Truth, goodness and beauty are common words. However, this is not a topic to boast about. But in writing, I had a dialogue with myself. When we really face the start, line, receipt, turn, lift, press, stop and setback of every stroke we choose, we should really face the direction, angle, importance and urgency. Ask if your inner voice needs to be conspicuous or quiet. In the process of writing, everyone will be faithful to their own heart, and those words, like what they said, are just a comprehensive evaluation based on this trace.
It is "good" to respect yourself when you really face your writing. No matter how naive and elegant you think at the moment, just accept your choice. This will naturally produce "beauty." Beauty is just a feeling of "harmony". In this process, it seems to be practicing calligraphy, but in fact it is a person's practice.
Write an upward heart, and handwriting will leave a better journey.
When we are constantly changing and constantly reflecting, there will naturally be dissatisfaction of one kind or another. It is this dissatisfaction that has made a calligrapher's righteous heart.
Practice again and again, dissatisfaction again and again. It looks like three thousand dollars of waste paper, but it actually leaves a trace of you getting better. Good steel needs a lot of efforts to become a "soft finger". A perfect calligraphy is naturally the result of constant scrutiny. No one knows his own efforts better than himself. Naturally, people who have good calligraphy are reluctant to give them away, and those who have bad calligraphy are embarrassed to give them away. Only when he meets a bosom friend, because he knows the hardships of his work, he knows that he has an upward heart.

Art is an endless practice. Calligraphy can accompany us all our lives. Once you start writing and pursue it all your life, it is not an arranged "trip", but an inner appeal. Everyone in China is using Chinese characters. Whenever we see Chinese characters, we will inevitably have feelings for them, big or small, long or short. Every word looks like a living and expressive person. The feeling of talking to you head-on makes you understand that this is an inevitable encounter. Even if you stop writing for a short time, you will feel deeply sorry.
