Spring Festival couplets, also called door couplets and door couplets, are divided into upper couplets, lower couplets and horizontal couplets, which belong to a kind of calligraphy couplets.
When posting Spring Festival couplets, many people can't tell which is the first couplet and which is the second couplet. Actually, this is very simple. As long as you look at the content, you will know that if the last word of each couplet is three or four, it is the first couplet. If it's one or two, it's the bottom line.
For example, couplets: People live long on the day of benevolence and righteousness, and Kunming is blessed with spring.
Among them, the word "longevity" is the upper part and the word "door" is the lower part. So are other couplets.
Since the Spring Festival couplets are posted, they should be in the form of calligraphy. You can't just post it, you should distinguish the upper and lower couplets clearly.
In general, the first couplet should be posted on the right side of the door, and the second couplet should be posted on the left side of the door, from right to left. The order of horizontal approval is also best from right to left, which is just the opposite of the order of modern people, because couplets are arranged vertically.
Where the couplets are posted, the right hand side of the couplets is posted, and the left hand side is posted.
If there is a horizontal batch: the first word of the horizontal batch is attached to the last word of the horizontal batch, and the next one is attached.
The suffix of the upper couplet is silent (three tones, four tones), and the suffix of the lower couplet is flat (one tone, two tones).
Each couplet has its own specific meaning. When writing couplets, it is generally considered to be the bottom couplet with profound meaning, and the value of the top couplet is more of a guiding role. The upper and lower links are basically causal, because it is the upper link and the fruit is the lower link.
