Where did Wu Zetian put his gold when he closed the meditation in Songshan Mountain?
The Dengfeng altar of Wu Zetian's sacrifice to heaven is above the middle peak of Taishi Mountain in Songshan Mountain. On the peak, there was an original "Monument to the Great Zhou Sheng Zhong Shu", written by Wu Zetian himself, and written by Tang Ruizong, whose calligraphy of Yin Zhong Shaojing is very wonderful. According to Jinshi Kao, this tablet was erected in the first year of Long Live Dengfeng (696). During the political period of the Song Dynasty, Henan Yin invited it to be broken, and the broken tablet was pushed to the ravine in the north of the mountain. In 1982, a golden bamboo slip was unearthed in the southwest of the altar, with sixty-one words engraved on the front. Generally speaking, Wu Zetian sent a courtier to the gate of the high mountain of Zhongyue Song to offer sacrifices and pray, and cast this golden slip on his behalf.
